I love all Plaza’s — the food is always so amazing. I sat at the bar this time and ordered my usual— Tacos de Carne Asada which come with rice and beans— and of course I ordered guac and chips. The guac was not the appetizer (just the side) and it tasted not fresh, but wasn’t bad— maybe 6/10. The tacos were stufffffffed and soooo tasty. I wasn’t jumping for joy at the service but as long as my food is good— I’m not mad. When I went to pay, my card was declined and so my waitress asked for another card— I was surprised because my card had funds… she comes back and ask for another card insinuating that my second card declined as well… at this point, I advised that it must be the system because it was literally impossible. The person next to me at the bar was prepared to pay as well and so he gave his card and his card was declined as well…. At this point she came back and apologized to me because it was indeed the system. She asked for cash and I did not have any… then both people sitting next to me at the bar offered to pay and THAT made my night. Anyway, if you want guaranteed good food and a chance to potentially meet kind people — go to Plaza!!!

Tried Plaza Azteca for the first time. Pretty much the traditional Mexican fare. As someone who prefers spicy food I noticed there wasn't anything featuring obvious heat on the menu. This is where our server Pedro comes in. I asked where the hot stuff was and he said they don't have those items on the menu because everyone doesn't care for it. However, if I was looking for hot sauce, he could take care of me. So I ordered Tacos de Carne Asada. Figure if they can't get tacos right, why would I come back. The tacos were good. The steak was delicious, juicy and overflowing from the shell. I don't know what they do to the beans there but man, they are crazy good. Got a smokiness to them. Rice was A+ as well and you get ample portions. Pedro, who was as attentive and engaging as a server can be, came through with a habanero hot sauce and a combo sauce made from mild and hot. All in all a pleasant experience. I will be going back. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they have a server who moves throughout the dining area and makes fresh guacamole at your table...except that he didn't come to our table.

I love this place. The food is always great. I always order the Texas fajitas. Very healthy portion I never can finish it. This is my third experience with this place. This time I had another couple along. My friend who came along has eaten here on several occasions. As usual they bought out our complementary chips and salsa, he asked for the two extra sauces. They bought out two sauces one was a smokey tasting red sauce the other was a very spicy orange colored sauce. I enjoyed both.of the extra complimentary sauces. I got a 32 ounce dos Equis beer. Which to my surprise was alot bigger than I imagined I wasn't thinking to much about the size. It came in a gigantic mug with two lines. Our waitress was very nice, despite me always joking about being dissatisfied with the food or service, I do it to annoy my wife whenever we go out. The only thing I don't like has nothing to do with the food or service. I just dislike that they don't play authentic Mexican mariachi music and that all of the servers don't speak Spanish. Those are just not picky reasons but I think it's important for the atmosphere there.

It was just okay for me. The resteraunt was very cold as soon as we walked in the door. I asked to be seated somewhere there wasn't an ac unit blasting cold air down on our table. The host took us right over to a booth across from the host stand...which was directly under an ac. Now understand that my husband HATES when I complain about this sort if thing, so I didnt want to say anything else about it. He swears that when you request things and nit pick that the wait staff do things to your food...lol so I left it go. (Not just here..but everywhere) Onto the food... it wasn't the greatest either. My favorite mexican resteraunt is El Rodeo hands down. I basically wanted to see if this place compared ...and well It didn't.😔 My refried beans had soo much cheese on them i couldn't taste the beans, and again because it was soo cold it chilled it right away and made a stiff coating. My pork looked like giant chunks chopped off of a pig... just not appetizing. So maybe for some this place is great, but for me...it just didnt do it. Our waitress was very nice and checked in freqently...

Always consistent taste you can count on. We come back often. Pretty fast service even when they're busy. Update: To go along with our dinner, we decided to order blended margaritas with Patron Silver instead of their house pre blended mix with house tequila. However, they brought regular margarita on the rocks for $12.99 each and said they don't have a blender and it wouldn't taste right, so this is what you get. A few minutes later, we watched the bartender fire up the blender to make a blended drink for someone else! After that, our love for this restaurant has lost it's luster! Even though the food is good, the service has went down a bit, we will be trying other places instead. Here's a great recipe in case you want to explore how to make a blender margarita for customers that ask... HOW TO MAKE FROZEN MARGARITAS Place 1 cup tequila, 1 cup lime juice, 1/2 cup triple sec, 2 tablespoons agave syrup (or other sweetener) and 6 cups ice in a large blender. Blend until slushy and pour into 4 glasses. Serve immediately.

7/16/22 So normally i get the Pina Loka which is so good, but the last couple times i got it there was barely any meat or pineapple. It was just filled with peppers & onions. This time i decided to try something different. Although it was good it was still super disappointing. I ordered the Quesadilla Al Pastor. I ordered for pick up & when i saw my order it just looked like a taco. It was not formed like a quesadilla. Someone just slapped it on a semi cooked tortilla & called it a day (image attached). It didn’t even come with the crema salad and pico de gallo which is supposed to be included. I rechecked my order & i indeed ordered a quesadilla not whatever the heck i got. Better luck next time i guess. EDITED 9/6/22 Do you guys not know what a quesadilla looks like? I got this quesadilla again today & it looked like a sloppy put together taco again & dry. Very disappointed. Had to change my rating. (Photo attached)
