I went to pick up my DoorDash order and noticed I was given a drink I didn’t order. I politely asked the woman at the counter if I could switch it out for the one I actually wanted. Instead of handling it professionally, she gave me attitude right away and acted like I was asking for something unreasonable.
She told me that when DoorDash orders come in, “we just give whatever we have,” which makes no sense — especially when customers are paying for specific items. I calmly explained that I didn’t want the drink they gave me and that I shouldn’t have to pay for something I didn’t ask for. That’s when she said she was the owner (or one of them) and told me it was a waste of her money to throw the drink away. But what about my money? Why should I waste mine on something I don’t even want?
When I asked for her name, she told me, “It doesn’t matter,” which was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. As an owner, she should know better. Customer service is supposed to be about respect, understanding, and doing what’s right — not making customers feel small for speaking up.
I walked out feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and honestly shocked that someone in her position would treat a loyal customer this way. I’ve supported this place for a long time because I truly enjoy their food and have been ordering regularly through their app as part of my fitness journey. But after this experience, I’m seriously questioning whether I want to keep supporting a business where the owner treats customers like an inconvenience instead of a priority.
I hope the other owners or management see this, because that kind of behavior reflects terribly on the entire business. No customer deserves to be spoken to that way — especially when they did...
Read moreWe've gotten food here many times before and really enjoyed everything. Tonight, my husband and I stopped by to pick up some food for lunches this week. The plan was to grab a few things from the cooler and also order from the cafe for dinner tonight. We walked in at about 6:15., picked our food out from the coolers, and got in line to pay/order by 6:20. There was someone checking out, and the person working couldn't figure out the cash register, so we had taken our time picking food from the cooler. By the time the person working had figured out how to use the register and the other customer paid, it was 6:32 per the clock on their wall. When I told the employee that I wanted to order cafe food, we were told that it closes at 6:30 and they would not take our order. If this truly was the case, it should be online - and the website doesn't mention that at all. Additionally, if they had known how to do their job, we would have been ordered in plenty of time - it took over 10 minutes for them to check out the other customer. All around unprofessional and disappointing - from wearing sleep attire while working to the way the situation was handled. While the food is great, if this is the way the location is being operated now we won't...
Read moreI tried the meal plan. Food is decent, though some of it tasted a little bland to me, likely since they don’t add salt or fry the food in tons of oil like most places. I just added a little salt and was a happy camper.
Portions are on the smaller side, though you can just order the versions with extra protein if you want. I actually prefer smaller portion sizes since I can never finish large portions. They’re still significantly larger than the frozen diet meals you’ll find at the grocery store.
The food was much better than a frozen meal would be. It’s twice the price of your average box of lean cuisine, with 50% more food and a much better taste. It’s also cheaper to pick up meals here than any of the online delivery premade meal plans I looked into (they’re usually $10+/meal plus shipping).
Lady who gave me the food seemed professional and well put together. The guy working there seemed nice too. It’s rare to find places with good customer service these days.
Anyways, thanks for the food. I’ll be back next time I’m looking to take a week off from cooking dinner myself. Looking forward to trying my remaining...
