A great selection, though only 2/3 of the available shelves has product on them. Be selective- there are as many senseless, cheap items as there are those that will have a lasting value in your home.

Think, "where should I go to buy stuff to stage the empty home I am trying to sell?" At Home is your answer, in one location- and this is why it almost met the 3 star threshold in my opinion.

At Home has some value, though they are trying to market to everyone- (and most will find something to take home with them.) Its real market is in cheaply populating a living space with low-quality, albeit interesting, ...stuff.

Most stars lost due to the imported goods aspect, disorganization, and absence of prices on at least a third of the items I had any interest in examining further.

Also, (and this goes for the other similar stores mentioned as well,) the capitalization on the ingenuity and artistry of others- and thus devaluing the work of local artisans. Copycat "designers," who commission offshore production workers that likely make $1USD a week at best. These stores feel shameless in their attempt to fill your cart with items you'll likely, at least partially, experience buyer's remorse over. It lost a star simply for duplication and lack of originality. It isn't needed in our market.

I am ALL for saving dollars, and I am certain

I rarely give reviews but feel that my last experience was very bad. I love this store but unfortunately they do not have good customer service. I have spent a lot of money at this store over the last year and it is very hard to get help while shopping. Most employees are not able to answer questions. During my shopping experience today, I purchased over $500 in Christmas decor. I wanted to get large decor for outside and could not fit them in my cart because it was full and I had my 1 year old with me. I could not find anyone on the floor to help, therefore, I went to the register to ask if I could leave my items at the register to get the larger items. Usually someone offers to helps get large items and bring them to the front. Not here. I ended up unloading my items and went to get some of display items I wanted. The one item that I wanted was large and on display and the cashier asked someone to bring it to front for me. The lady seemed less than thrilled to help. She brought it to the front and left it on the flat cart. I made several trips in and out of the store to load my car. Not a single person offered to help. The lady that brought the item to the front, watched me struggle to load everything on the flat cart and struggle to steer it out of the store. I can not imagine as an employee not offering help but yet to just stand there and watch me as if I was in her way and causing her to much work. After this last experience, I doubt I will shop here anymore. They need to find better employees that treat their customers...

I had big expectations before entering the Lancaster, PA location as I had never been to one of these stores before. And with being a relatively new opening, I was looking forward to it. I was greeted promptly upon entering and then that's where things went downhill. I walked right into a huge Christmas display of trees, balls, lights and decor. It's only the beginning of August. Ok, I can almost deal with it. Lots of empty shelves in the seasonal aisle, again, ok, we're transitioning. Walked along the furniture section. Very hard to find prices on things. Found a bar stool I liked but couldn't find a price on it. Touched it and it wobbled, not just a little bit but by about 3/8". Really? Looking around found one with a price of $100. So the want me to pay that for a wobbly stool. Nope don't think so. Continued walking through the store and I have to say that there was trash on the floors throughout the entire store. Shelves were a mess, not nicely merchandised, nothing. The overall appearance of things in general did not make me want to purchase anything. I don't know if they were short staffed, or if the management team just has very low expectatations, but I felt Walmart and K-Mart are better merchandised. My experience felt more like a high priced Dollar General. Not sure I'll be back as it was that...

I used to love this store because the prices were reasonable and they had so much to choose from. Since they’ve been in this location, I feel like prices have gone up quite a bit. At this point in time, making a trip to this store is last resort if I can’t find something online or closer to home, especially for wall art or mirrors since they have a lot to choose from. I am about to have my room painted and recently bought a very basic framed canvas, and it was $90. I wasn’t expecting that for what it is. Since I’ve been in the store so many times over the years, it seems as though it’s also getting more difficult to find things that are just different. They seem to always carry the same ol things year after year. Things seem to be cluttered and just thrown everywhere throughout. If you need help or have a question, good luck finding someone who works there. I usually have to walk the whole way to the front of the store to the one cashier they have. That’s how I ended up buying the $90 picture. It didn’t have a price on it and I had to carry it the whole way up front for a price check. I don’t want to make it sound as though I dislike the store now. I think part of my issue with it is, that it looks like a warehouse, but you’re not paying warehouse prices.

LOVE this place! 😍 They had a large selection of Halloween and fall items and it was only the end of July. I'm a big fan of skull decor and they had a nice assortment. I bought a gold mirrored box to go with one of the gold skulls and love the way they look together. I also purchased a fall candle (Pumpkin Horchata) that not only smells amazing but part of the sale goes to Habitat for Humanity. WIN WIN 🎉They have a great selection of furniture and throw pillows in addition to holiday and home decor. Items are reasonably priced. I'll be a frequent shopper here 👍
