tl;dr: Had a pretty bad experience at this place this evening, and I'm pretty sure im not going to go back for a long time.
Tonight, my daughter and I were in Lancaster, so we decided to go to Wendy's. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, I made it up to the order kiosk. I ordered the biggie bag, and asked if I could get it with the spicy nuggets. She said a very curt "no" and left it at that. A bit rude, but it was busy, so I let it go. I gave her the rest of my order, which was a 2nd biggie bag meal, and 2 more hamburgers for the folks at home, and she told me the total. I pulled up to the pay window, paid for my food, and asked for my receipt. She told me that they don't give receipts, company policy. Once again, I shrugged it off, because it was busy, and I've worked retail, and somedays, you have off days. So i pulled up to the window to pick up my food, and they gave me the bags of food.
I pulled around to the side to check it, and they forgot a burger. Great. So, I parked, and went inside to get the other burger. The girl was at the front register, and told me that i had to get out, because patrons weren't allowed in the dining room. I tried to explain to her that they forgot a burger. So she looked at me, and told me that I had to get back in line, at the drive thru. So, I did. I waited another 20 minutes in line, to let them know that they messed up my order. Then, the first thing she asked me is if I had my receipt. I told her no, it's company policy. She then said, "You don't have to be rude about it!" I paused at the irony of the situation. She found the transaction, and pulled it up. Sure enough, they had an extra burger. So, I pulled around to the pay window, and she was texting someone on her phone, and laughing and smiling at whatever was going on there. Then she saw me, rolled her eyes, and slipped her phone into her pocket. At the next window, I was handed the burger, with another employee, who said, "Here's your burger!" When I didn't move, he asked me if there was anything else. No apology for forgetting it in the first place, for the wait, for anything. So, yeah. The entire time, my daughter was asking why they treated me that way, and I told that they're very stressed out, and have a lot of people to work for. At the same time, though, the workers were very rude. And I'm not sure I'm...
Read moreNow im not saying all Wendy's are like this location, but this location is worrisome to say yes least lol. The drivethru was way too long (wrapped around by costo), so we went inside, and the cashier got our order put in all correctly, she was friendly and helpful, but you could tell she was under alot of stress, then I was able to see why, the supervisor had no patience with her employees, and in all honest was treating her employees terribly and like they were stupid. Working in fast food is hard enough, a supervisor or manager shouldn't make it worse. (Not because of the cashier) but our order came out wrong, the manager/supervisor fixed it for us, she was polite to us but really irritable with her staff and it came off pretty strong on us as we waited for our food. Now idk what stresses that woman is or was under that night, but aside from that the lobby looked terrible and dirty. Things were dirty all around, all tables had trash on them, and the cabinets under the ketchup stand was being held up with ducktape. For me, id rather drive the extra 5 minutes and just go to the rancho Vista location in Palmdale. Stay safe all! And keep in mind my experiences are my experiences, they might be...
Read moreThe headliner menu item is the Breakfast Baconator, a big, breakfast-y twist on the regular menu staple. It's like a burger crossed with brunch crossed with your friend daring you to try to finish it before 8 am. Wendy's stacks them with sausage, two layers of bacon and cheese, a fried egg, and some hollandaise-Swiss cheese sauce for good measure. It's... a lot. It might be a tad too hefty to eat with one hand in the car, but its size is by no means a con here. You're gonna be full. And depending on what you did the night before, you might feel less hungover afterward. While you can't go wrong with a simple hash brown, Wendy's has opted for Seasoned Potatoes—thick, natural-cut wedges seasoned with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. They're a hearty, satisfying choice for the hungriest of breakfast eaters, especially paired with thee Breakfast Baconator. No matter what you get, you should wash it down with a genius Chocolate Frosty-ccino (cold brew coffee plus Frosty flavoring) that’s better tasting than 75% of Starbucks’ Frappuccinos. And...
