Phở 75 — Restaurant in Langley Park

I tried calling to make a pick up order for a company lunch but I kept getting hung up on. (5 times in a row)

I wanted to give it one final try, because I always like to give people the benefit of doubt. I've come here to eat in person before and the service wasn't bad in person. The pho is actually really really good and that’s why I wanted to order it for the staff.

When I gave them one last try on the phone, the same guy picked up, and I immediately said, "I want to order food please. I don't know why you keep hanging up on me” And he said, "okay, how many you want?"

He never said sorry or explained why he hung up so many times. 😅

I could tell that english was not his first language, so I tried to make it as simple as possible and said "22 beef pho, 5 chicken pho - tomorrow, 12pm pick up. cash payment."

He said ok.

He didn't ask me what size and what type of meat, or tell me how much my total cost would be.

Well, I guess I'll wait and see if my order actually went through when I call again tomorrow morning to check. ^^;;;

UPDATE: So, I called the next morning, and they asked me to place a new order again. So I reminded them what I ordered and I arrived at 11:40am, and the staff were very very nice in person. Nothing like what I experienced on the phone. It must have been very busy the night before or the phone had issues? I updated the service stars from 1...

I have eaten Pho in many places throughout the United States and Europe. (Never been to Vietnam so I don’t know how it compares to the real deal) BUT, this is the BEST Pho have ever had. I go through periods where I eat here every day and never get tired of it. The broth is that good! It is so delicious and beefy with the right balance of spice to beef flavor and it feels like liquid gold going down. The meats are delicious. My go-to order is a large with tendon, brisket, and fat brisket. I never add hoisin or chili sauce. The broth is too good to mess with. Just a few slices of jalapeño and that’s all I need. Service is rapid. Just come in, have a seat anywhere, someone will take your order, and a steaming hot bowl of pho will be in front of you in literally seconds to a minute. I’ve eaten at most of the Pho 75 locations throughout the DC area, and for some reason this location in Adelphi consistently has the best broth out of all the other locations. In reading some of the reviews I’ve noticed others have noted the same. Also, Don’t forget to bring cash, and vegetarians beware: they do not serve vegetarian pho at this location. If Pho 75 had a theme song, it would be "Welcome to the Pho-nomenal Playground" because that's exactly how it felt! From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere was evident. Our little one had the freedom to explore, play, and even drop a few noodles here and there without a single frown from the staff. They were incredibly kid-friendly, and their patience and smiles made us feel right at home.

As someone learning Vietnamese, I was thrilled to practice my budding language skills. The servers and managers were so kind, gently correcting my mistakes and encouraging me to keep going. Their warmth and support meant the world to me.

Now, let's talk about the food — absolutely delicious! We indulged in the special pho and chicken pho, and every bite was a flavorful delight. The sides were spot on, perfectly complementing the rich, savory broth. It's clear they know their pho, and it shows in every aspect of the meal.
