Hong Kong Kitchen — Restaurant in Lansdale

I have been going here (well, I never ate inside) for what seems like at least 15 years since I was a teenager. This isn't top notch chinese cuisine but they serve standard fare american chinese food and they do it very well. They are always polite and haven't messed up my order once. They are so consistent that I moved away for ~10 years, came back, and they still served the same food I remembered. There aren't many places I can say that about.

Update August 2024: Could be a fluke but the last two times, spaced a week or two apart, that I've ordered from here the food just wasn't as good. The shrimp was still great both times (Shrimp w/ Lobster Sauce, Shrimp w/ Brocolli) but the pork fried rice tasted old/stale. Still great service and super friendly. I'll give it one more go within a month or so just because I'm such a fan of this place usually.

Update February 2025: They're back to being regular again. At least the last time I ordered. Maybe just a rough few months but...

I’ve been eating here for around two years, the food is good (nothing special) but my problem is the lack of integrity the cashier has. To anyone interested in ordering from here, make sure to keep note of what each item you order costs AND ask for a receipt after you pay. The other day I bought four items. (Total should’ve been $35.82) At the register the cashier told me the total was $37, I paid $28 in cash and put the rest on card expecting to be charged $9. When I got home and checked my bank account I saw I was charged $16 instead…which is insane! I don’t plan on going back to ask for the difference. I’m no longer supporting this business because they clearly lack ethics. If you choose to order from here be wary, or just don’t support...

Horrible. Took two hours for delivery and didn’t come due to the driver saying, “Oh she gave me wrong address. Never offered anything off the price or even free. I suggested free and he only mentioned 5 dollars off. I literally live 8 mins downs the street. Called the store to explain the lost driver and complain for the second time. Lady barely understood again and asked for my address for 5th time. Told her don’t bother and I will never order from that restaurant again. “I tell driver to come back. Thank you” was her response.

Hire individuals who can process the correct address the first time and who can give feedback clear. Both driver and “manager” never listened...
