Bella Roma Pizza — Restaurant in Upper Gwynedd Township

If I could give no stars, I would. This review is not based on one order. We had been ordering fairly regularly with no problems until the past few orders or so. Some of our food recently has been delivered with ‘other food’ mixed in a little, like they had a hard time keeping the grill truly separate. Next, the second to last order took well over an hour to get here, despite my order confirmation stating 45 minutes. No apology from the driver, no acknowledgement that this took longer than usual. Finally, our last order took over ONE AND A HALF HOURS TO BE DELIVERED and this was only after I had finally called, frustrated. I should note that I only live about a mile from this location. Again, no offer of apology, nothing from neither the man on the phone nor the delivery driver. In fact, the driver had an air like I disturbed and bothered him! The food was not even fresh to top it off, it felt like it had been sitting on a heater for about an hour. This has been the most ridiculous delivery experience in my entire life. Since my money and time don’t seem to matter to this establishment, they will get neither from now on. I encourage you to do the same and spend your money where they actually care about you...

I work at a local hotel and two elderly guest and their grand daughter who got in late and are due to attend a funeral in the early morning asked if I could order and wait for their pizza while they were in the pool after a very long drive. I ordered and someone picked up and took our order. The woman waited about an hour before finally deciding it wasn't worth it took her money back. I attempted to call to cancel and explain my disappointment, but the phone would ring and no one would answer except twice it seemed as though someone picked up the phone just to hang up. The delivery guy did end up showing up five minutes after I called and he seemed rather nice, and like a good worker. Other than that I was very disappointed. I was looking for a new place for pizza delivery. New Station was burnt and tasteless the last time I ordered and Nino’s was delivered with the cheese slide off the pizza. So I called around investigating different pizza places. An Italian man at Bella Roma’s convinced me that they had homemade ingredients made fresh everyday. Their Bella Roma Special pizza was absolutely the best ever!!!! It was still hot when it arrived. There was so many ingredients on the pizza and they covered the whole pizza dough leaving only a pie crust at the edge. Loved it!!!!! Highly recommend!!!! And FYI, I don’t leave reviews too often.
