2941 Mediterranean Street Food - Lansing — Restaurant in Lansing Charter Township

Super delicious sandwiches. I had passed this new restaurant several times before deciding to give it a try. I had no idea what I was doing when ordering my food online, I don’t know Mediterranean foods well and knew nothing by name, but the website has pictures of everything throughout the ordering process. When I got home I was surprised to see extra delicious croutons and a sandwich bursting with all the toppings and food I ordered. This sandwich was fantastic, I love it so much. I’m going to order it over and over again, I am definitely coming back a lot. I also ordered some baklava and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. I’ve had baccy about four when you take a bite it explodes as honey in your mouth and that’s all you can taste well this was not overly honey filled, and you could easily taste all the other ingredients. Just went in earlier today not realizing that they don’t open until another hour and 20 minutes. I felt so bad once i realized but the guy helping me said he had some food ready so he’ll make me something. He walked me through what he recommends because it was my first time there, he explained everything to me and was just super nice in general. The food was good if a bit pricey. Maybe I just haven't gotten on board with all the new high pricing, but for two entrees, one being a pita style sandwich, $35 (not including tip) seems a lot. You will order from a buffet style counter where you can barely hear the staff person. All in all, staff was congenial and pleasant.
