I normally love McAllister's Deli especially since they have a pickup window which comes in handy with a young baby! My recent visit however was not good at all. I waited in the pickup line (after my status of my order said ready for pick up) for close to 20-30 mins. There was 2 cars in front of me that had been there for awhile as well. I had waited until my order status said ready while I was in the parking lot. Unsure what was happening with the 1st vehicle but waiting that long with a young baby was a little much. My baby was having a full blown meltdown and screaming the entire time. What I thought would be a quick stop to pick up my food turned into a entire event in my car. I couldnt back out since there was a car behind me. Once I got home my sandwich (Cuban sandwich) had this green stuff on the bottom of the bread. Im thinking it was guacamole but that does not go on a Cuban sandwich. It's just was a bad experience. Disappointed this time for sure..

You like sandiwches? EAT HERE! Food-Stunningly well-made and absolutely delicious. Standards are no stranger here and the customer benefits greatly. Flare and flavor are increasingly rare, and finding both at an affordable price is a delight. The only drawback was that the soup was a *tiny* touch thin. As it was a cheese soup, and the day quite warm, I did not mind so much, though. Service-I have spent most of my time in Lansing lamenting the lack of competent restaurant staff. It seems this is one oasis amid the sea of mediocrity. Professionalism is one thing, but these folks are coordinated and poised. Smooth operation looked like the norm during my visit, excellent attention, focus, and teamwork (really nice to see). One hopes that this is shown its due appreciation by ownership/corporate. Atmosphere-clean and well-maintained. Did not dine in but plan to on future visits as the dining room is invitingly on point.

McAlister's is a nice little deli, just a tad pricey, but everything that I had was spot on. They are known for their sweet tea and lemonade. I can't comment on either(opted for water) but I hear that they are both killer. I had a 1/2 Southwest Chicken Cobb salad and cup of Parmesan Kale soup. My lunch was the best that I've had from that type of restaurant in a long time. There were layers of flavor in both dishes and the portion sizes were perfect.I also like the vibe of the restaurant. It has the feeling of a small town deli but with a Panera-type service model.

I recently visited the newly moved and remodeled McAlister's Deli, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. The new location is not only aesthetically pleasing but also well-designed, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for diners. The restaurant's attention to detail in the remodel is evident, creating a modern and clean space that enhances the overall dining experience.

One aspect that stood out during my visit was the outstanding customer service provided by the young staff members. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine friendliness. The staff at McAlister's Deli truly cares about their customers, and their dedication to creating a positive dining experience is evident.

Now let's talk about the food. The menu at McAlister's Deli offers a wide range of options to suit different tastes and preferences. Personally, I fell in love with their New Yorker sandwich. Packed with flavorful deli meats, it was a true delight for my taste buds. The combination of corned beef, pastrami on rye bread was simply mouthwatering. The generous portion size left me feeling satisfied and impressed.

My wife, on the other hand, is a fan of healthier options, and she couldn't get enough of the Veggy sandwich. The fresh and crunchy vegetables, along with the deliciously seasoned bread, made for a refreshing and satisfying meal. To accompany her sandwich, she couldn't resist the iced tea, which was a perfect choice on a warm day.

In conclusion, my experience at McAlister's Deli was nothing short of fantastic. The move and remodel have elevated the dining atmosphere to a whole new level, and the young and friendly staff members go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Whether you're a fan of hearty sandwiches like the New Yorker or prefer lighter options like the Veggy sandwich, McAlister's Deli has something for everyone. I highly recommend paying them a visit and indulging in their...

as a small business owner, and someone who understands the value of reviews, it’s disappointing to have to leave one like this, but I think it needs to get peoples attention and hopefully from management. Ever since the new location opened by Eastwood Towne center in 2023 my wife and I have been looking forward to eating here as we drive by every single day because we live up the road from here. after a long day of work, my wife and I wanted to get a good meal but understood that it was 8 o’clock and they close at 8:30. Since I have worked in fast food and restaurants I understand that sometimes we have bad days and long ones at that. However, this review is specifically targeted at staff. The staff were not friendly. They did not know anything about the menu and they were constantly joking around quite loudly and cussing in there playfulness. Now I really don’t care about the cursing but I just do not see it as professional or appropriate for work environment. The cashier whose name was “Sai”, had a rude attitude. And forgot items that we ordered. Not a big deal because it happens right? But there was no apology. There was no have a good day and then she forgot the second item clarified that was missing also. I’m not one for leaving reviews but with this being a brand new location, I would think that the staff would be informed about the menu and be more polite, yet alone, professional in a work environment....

I get lunch here multiple times a week because I work in Eastwood. It is my favorite place to eat and I get the same thing every time. Today I was off work but still wanted a spicy turkey melt, so I ordered one. I just got home and opened my sandwich and it’s roast beef. I am so sad now. It had a spicy turkey melt sticker on it and everything. To whoever got my sandwich, enjoy it. Sorry I don’t like roast beef so I won’t be eating this one. I had to take away two stars even though I love McAlister’s so much. The last time I ordered, I sat there for a solid thirty minutes, on my lunch break, even though I had ordered ahead for a specific pick up time…. I was totally ignored, by who I assume was the manager, as I patiently waited for so long and was never once asked what I was waiting on, or if I had been helped, mean while he asked someone else who had come in about 10 minutes after me if he had been waiting and he was so sorry. I had to say I was also waiting on an order that had been somehow lost. Then had to wait another 15 minutes for it to be done.Idk. Just seems sub par lately. I know places are struggling but both of these instances happened during really slow periods of the day, with what appeared to be adequate number of staff on hand. A tad...
