7.9.25 I haven’t had a chance to update my review. The store owner made this right with a free bagel and coffee. This Biggby crew are always working hard and are friendly and helpful. Like I said about the coffee-they nail it every time! I appreciate the consistency and quality of the drinks. And the bagels are good too!
I’m a regular, I come here every morning when I go into the office. I come here on my weekends. The owner is super nice and the crew works hard. Coffee is always great, they nailed it this morning. Today I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese from the app. Picked it up and just got to my desk and opened it to discover a problem. Maybe they gave someone a bagel who returned it? Anyway, there was no knife and the cream cheese was open and half used. It was also wedged in the middle of the bagel hole. Definitely not the norm for Biggby. I was hoping I could get a refund for the bagel but don’t know how to request...
Read moreI love Bigby, I have been an avid Bigby customer for over 10 years… But this Bigby made me feel uncomfortable.
Upon handing over my card, the barista stated the following, “my card machine is going to ask if you’d like to leave a tip”. Now this may not be a big deal for some… But to me, it’s intrusive, and a passive aggressive way of asking for a tip.
I think a simple tip-jar would be far more professional, especially for a job like this.
EDIT TO OWNERS RESPONSE:
I’ve read your opinion, and I understand where you are coming from… However, passive-aggressively asking for a tip is still an intrusive practice IMO, especially for a drive-thru.
A less intrusive solution would be a note on the window explaining that tipping through card is an available, and appreciated option.
Either way, I’m not here to tell you how to run your business & I wish you long-term success, but this practice is a deal...

I swing into coffee shops all the time when I’m on the road and give employees of coffee shops and cafes the opportunity to make whatever they want and have creative freedom. I’ve swing into this location a couple of different times but the last two times I’ve been here have prompted me to make a review. The barista Josh know how to make a coffee. It was a mocha cold brew with white chocolate and mint. It was so good I thought about it periodically throughout the week until I was back into Lansing for the day. The customer service of this store is amazing too, Sophia is who I talked two the last two times I visited. this is a store with two highly rated employees.
