Panda Gourmet — Restaurant in Lansing

If I could give zero stars, I would. It was bad enough that I left my home on a chilly day with damp hair (sitting under the dryer) just to bring the food back.The food was purchased and brought to me so that I wouldn't have to leave the house to begin with. The shrimp fried rice was grey and tasted scrorched. The egg rolls were dry like they were old or overcooked. All that I asked the lady at the register is if I could have my food remade. That is ALL that I asked for. She proceeded to go on about how the food is prepared and the cook takes his time preparing the food. For some reason, she also made a point to tell me that they don't give refunds. I never asked for one. So that was odd. I explained that as the customer, I left my house with wet hair to bring the food back. I never once got an apology. But instead was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them. The lady asked for my name and number, banged a few keys to punch in on the cashed register, took out some cash, basically throught it at me. She made 'shewing' gestures with her hands and told me to never come back to the restaurant. It was insulting. I didn't ask for a refund. I also found out from the original purchaser that the food was more than what money was thrown back at me, along with a tip. I have never been so insulted and have never had an experience like this. my husband and I went to this restaurant we walked in. They looked at us like we were aliens. I personally do not eat Chinese food unless I cook it myself, but we both had a taste for Chinese food last night We get up to the counter to pay for our food, We gave them $100 bill, She looked at us like we just robbed a bank, She scanned it with this little scanner code and she couldn't find anything wrong with the money,So then she asked if we had a credit card and we said no, We want to pay with cash which should be an option that we have she then went on to say we don't have any cash which was a lie because when she opened the register up she had plenty of cash inside She then snatched the food up That we were getting ready to pay for , very rude back in the day I would have handled this situation a lot more hostel. But instead my husband and I said it was not worth the risk so we left in peace heads up. I don't think they care too much for black folks. Anyhow, I am retired. My husband is about to retire from GM for over 30 years so it's not like we were trying to rob the place that's the impression they gave us ,the food We didn't have a chance to eat , but by the way we were treated I'm glad we didn't even want to taste the food....
