I enjoy a nice drink at the bar. I like a bartender who talks to me and gets to know me, and vice versa. I went into edmunds because a friend of mine talked about their happy hour and how its good food, drinks, and friendly bartenders (he said there was a couple cute bartenders, a cute small blonde, a taller brunette one, a bright red head, something for everyone). I went in during happy hour and ordered a few drinks. It was disappointing to say the least. The grocery store self check out talked to me more than the bartender. It was a filipina girl with glasses. She was ALWAYS on her phone. I understand every once in awhile but she was on it literally the whole time I was there. My drink ran empty a few times for TOO long of a time. Isnt the purpose of sitting at a bar is for the bartender to talk to me and quick service of the drinks? Maybe I am mistaken... The food was good, half off appetizers. Cant beat that! So it made up for some of the bad service. So if you go in and see the filipina girl bartending count on her being on her phone texting her friends who arent there, instead of talking to you, the customer, who was there. Also my friend said the drinks came in mason jars but mine just came in a...
Read moreVery beautiful place. They offer a variety of seating to accommodate everyone they have booths, Hightops and standard seating. The wait staff is very friendly I’ve been here several times including weekend brunch which offers a host of delicious food and wonderful beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. This evening I visited once again and the service was not the same. The owner/ Operator was frankly quit rude! A guest in my party ordered chicken tenders and fries & a side of pickles the pickles were overly cooked and the chicken was still partially frozen. When we brought it to the waiters attention he asked if we would like something else, we asked for a few moments to look over the menu but he never returned until he brought the bill. We then asked for the manager because they wanted to charge him for the chicken and pickles the guest did not eat. He manager then stated because the fries were gone he had to charge for the whole meal. I offered to pay for the fries but not the other items that were not eaten. The manager still insisted that the guest should pay full price. I was very disappointed with the way tonight’s...
Read moreI really want to love this place, and went 3 separate times before deciding to leave a review—as much as they have improved things from their previous attempt in this location, the service still leaves a lot to be desired. I have yet to dine here without feeling rushed or like an inconvenience. You can walk into a completely empty restaurant and still be force fed your bill before you finish eating or get halfway through your drink, and twice I have come in several hours before their advertised closing only to be told they are closing early—which is understandable depending on the circumstance, however why advertise being “open during construction” if it seems your servers would prefer an empty restaurant? The food is as expected, decent bar food, and the drink specials are great! However, 3 strikes you’re out, and the service has been not only lackluster, but truly disappointing each time we have tried to come out and support. Hoping eventually things work themselves out and you find your groove, there is great...
