Taco John's — Restaurant in Lansing

This is the first time I have been here (we do not have Taco Johns where I am from) and I said thais prior to ordering my food. I ordered and got to the window and wasn't even greeted. The woman opened the window and looked disgusted that there was actually a customer at her window. When giving me my drinks she just said "HERE!" in a super rude tone. I was given my food bags by another woman who looked equally as thrilled. I caught her off guard when I sarcastically said how friendly the staff was there. She asked me if I had everything and I told her I really hoped so and told her I hope her and the staff have a better day. I was missing an entire order, but didn't care enough to go back and be a "burden" for them again. I understand staffing everywhere sucks and I am a very patient person, but the treatment I recieved was unneccessary especially when I am a brand new customer...

Stopped at Taco John's Drive-thru to pick up lunch for my parents on our way to visit at my mom's request, which surprised me! Never knew they had ever had it. She wanted taco salads! I've been going since I could drive (1982), and have always ordered Super Nachos, extra meat and Potato Olés. This day was no exception. Everything was a little different than I recalled, but it's probably been 10-20 years since I've been here, and everything changes, sooner or later. Drive-thru had no cars in front of us so we were able to order immediately. 10 minutes later...we were on our way. Potato Olés were hot and the best thing in the bag that day. Not as buttery as I recalled, but still delicious. Parents both enjoyed their taco salads. 🌮 Nice nostalgic...

The food and service at this location is superb. Ashly W. took our order with a smile, answering all my menu questions with top-notch customer service. A++!

My friend Clifford ordered the Boss Burrito, 2 ice cold sodas, and I got the 4 Cheese Chicken Quesadilla, with Potato Olés added for extra flavor—absolutely delicious! 😋

Everything arrived hot, fresh, and bursting with taste. We enjoyed our meal in a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned dining area.

Clifford and I left full, satisfied, and already planning our next visit. This place is an absolute gem! 🌯🎉
