I went to the Lake Worth McDonald's on Lantana Rd, and I placed an order at the kiosk which said transaction approved. My order was never made so I went to the counter and asked about it. The manager said I never placed an order. I showed her the Point of Sale on my phone for the transaction total of my order. Even after seeing the transaction on my phone for $9.73 she said No, you didn't place an order because it didn't show up on my register and she walked away from me. I raised my voice and said "so you are just going to take my money and Not give me my order? She started arguing with me and basically called me a liar and kept saying that I never placed an order or it would have shown on her register. I again showed her the transaction on my phone that it was approved for $9.73. She walked away from me again and said I never placed an order. At that point we were ARGUING at a very high sound level and she kept repeating that it didn't show up on her register. Again I showed her the Point of Sale transaction on my phone. She did not know what POS means because it didn't say McDonald's. She just kept arguing with me and ignoring my proof that the money was deducted from my account. She then tried to duplicate the sale action at the kiosk at which point the kiosk totally failed and she said see it doesn't work which means you didn't place an order. I lost my mind because she called me a liar even though the transaction was on my phone as an approved sale. Once I started screaming at her and wouldn't leave the lobby she reluctantly gave me my order while continuing to tell me I was lying about placing an order. Obviously your store manager needs training on what a Point of Sale transaction means when shown to her from a bank register on a cell phone AND why is she arguing with me after I showed her the transaction was approved on my phone which means the money was taken out of my account? She was very unprofessional and argumentative despite my proof on my phone that I paid...
Read moreI visited this McDonalds on my way home tonight and arrived at this location at approximately 2am for a McDouble no pickle and a sweet tea. I made my order at about 2:19, there were 2 cars in front of me when I had arrived. After ordering I waited an unusually long time to pay for my order which I assumed was large orders. I was wrong. As I paid the cashier, Jonathan, took my money and cashed out the wrong order for me without a greeting or really even speaking to me. After fixing the order that he cashed out incorrectly he still did not give me all of my change. My total was $2.85 and He only gave me back $7. I figured it's better not to worry about the 15 cents. When I finally pulled up to the second window no one was there. I waited and waited for my items and I was waiting a while. When someone finally came up they were trying to give me the wrong food. We told them it was wrong and they disappeared again. They did fix the order but by the time we had gotten our food it had been 20 minutes since we ordered to receive the order. I also asked for the names of both the cashier and the manager on duty for which I received them name of the cashier and was told "Well, we don't really have a manager". This sounded quite strange to me considering I have worked for McDonalds and know the policies of how the crew is laid out for every shift. Then I questioned that they don't have a manager and the person in the 2nd window said she is the manager. I asked her again for her name and I had to ask her a few times for it; she told me her name is Carly. After this experience I will not be returning to this location and I will share my experience in full detail with everyone I know and in a google review so they do not have to deal with the same customer neglect and excuses that I did. I give this location a star rating of -5/5....

Long story short. Stay away from the Lantana McDonald's and go to the McDonald's on Hypoluxo and Military. 4614 Hypoluxo Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33463
I waited 2 days before my last visit before writing this. I've stopped at the Lantana McDonald's about 20-30 times over the last 4 years. My order has been wrong I'd say about 90% of the time. I don't like condiments and always ask for my sandwiches to be without them. I almost always have to get them to remake it.
Two days ago I made a mobile order for a chocolate shake and caramel frappe. I was given a caramel shake (didn't know that was even an option) and a mocha frappe. I told them it was the other way around, and was then given a vanilla shake and a caramel frappe. Okay, now it's half right. When I asked for a chocolate shake instead, they told me they didn't have chocolate shakes because the machine was broken. I asked for a refund, and they wouldn't oblige.
I parked the car, went inside, and asked again for a refund because I did not get the chocolate shake I ordered. After a 5 minute discussion the machine magically worked again (was just out of chocolate), and I was finally given what originally ordered 20 minutes prior.
I only go to this McDonald's on the way home from work... but I've finally decided to drive a little bit further to the McDonald's at 4614 Hypoluxo Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33463 from now on. I found this one about a year ago, and they've only got my order wrong once, but getting an extra fish filet isn't that bad of a mistake. Plus, the employees and atmosphere are much nicer, and they have the new self order...
