A very frequent and loyal Chick-fil-A customer, I got a flat tire as I was approaching this one. As I had to get to my next destination in a hurry and my phone was down, I asked its manager if he could call me a cab, Lyft, or Uber and have me give him the money in cash (I didn’t mention but was going to give him a nice tip for his help). The young man was eager to help, said, "My Operator (the owner of the location) is actually here and he'll help you with that," and went to get him. After a long delay, the young man returned looking upset and distraught, and said, "He's not gonna do anything." When asked if he or anyone else in his staff with a phone can call me a ride, he apologized and said that none of them can now. He looked so distraught that I comforted him and told him that it isn't his fault since he wants to help but is being forbidden by his Operator, whose first name, another employee later disclosed, is Jeremy. I stood outside for a second wondering what to do next. The place I needed to hurry to was less than 2 miles away. I then noticed that the nearest car waiting in the drive thru lane had his window down, so asked him if I could give him money to drive me the 2 miles. He asked for the address, and I was about to answer him when Jeremy the Operator called out to me and told me not to talk to his drive thru customers. When asked what his problem was, Jeremy said that he had helped out people in my situation before and had been burned. When asked how he could be burned by me paying him or someone else cash to call me a ride, he had no answer. This was the most unhelpful, unprofessional and rude behavior I have ever encountered at a fast food place, and it happened at a Chick-fil-A...
Read moreToday was not a good day for you all. I've been coming to this CFA since 2022 purchasing food for our high schools students. This year alone I've spent over $1,000 on various orders, with each order averaging $200.00. Today the person handling my order was not familiar with the process of placing the catering order while using our tax exempt form. He asked for assistance from a manager on duty and they told him we don't do tax exempt. I assured him that this was incorrect because I was here as recently as a week or so ago and they processed the order. Then the misinformed supervisor came out, looked at me, and told me I have to wait until the next manager was here to process our tax exempt as she was walking away. It took for another manager who processed our last order to come out, provide support, and show the shift leader how to complete the order. Two things I'd like to say. Since this year alone, almost everytime we do a celebration with food our students ask for chick fil a. 99% of the time the customer and food has been amazing. Today is that 1% and in this moment I was tempted to contact all 6 of my staff who consistently buy and spend hundreds of dollars at CFA that we would no longer place orders there. Secondly, this incident completely destroyed my appetite. I didn't eat breakfast or lunch today and was looking forward to getting my normal meal after I placed this order. Between my embarrassment and shock at the response I lost my desire to eat here. I don't believe the manager who came out was trying to be rude or disrespectful, but if I'm honest, people come here for the customer service. One bad experience can cause someone to not want to come back. Just venting. No...
Read moreWalked in to the EAST Lantana store with family and grandkids after they won a soccer game. I have an 8yr old lab service dog that is very well trained and does not interact with others. As I walked in a young lady employee asks “is he a service dog”? I answer yes he is. As we walked up to the counter a young supervisor named “Sandy” loudly says towards my entire group, is that a service dog ? My wife and my adult daughter answer yes!!, then Sandy continues with “ well it’s not wearing a vest and we don’t allow dogs in this restaurant. I raised my voice exclaiming “He’s not required to wear one” but it’s marked on his collar in big print. She turned and just walked away. I proceed to the counter and asked to speak to her off to the side to attempt to educate her regarding service dogs and the law. Explained what she is allows to ask or not ask and to use a little discretion instead of yelling across the restaurant. She said I’m not listening to this . This conversation is over and just walked away. No Apology, No concern and when I asked for her name . Nobody wanted to give it to me. Then another young female supervisor waked to my table and asked me what my name was. I gave her my complete name and asked if she would give me hers she said NO! This is not the first time I’ve been treated rudely in this store and don’t frequent it because...
