The store itself is fine however who I assume is the manager (the women in her late 50s w/ thin straight brown hair) makes it a miserable experience everytime I shop there. I have been frequenting that store for years before she even got their and to this day she is the worst. She's rude to everyone that's in there almost as if she has a chip on her shoulder. She's even rude to the point where you can tell the kids that work there are uncomfortable. At this point she has me dreading to even walk in and I feel relieved if she isn't there. I hate to say it but a new dollar tree is opening up by my house and I might have to end my shopping with this particular dollar general until this...

I have been living right next to Dollar General for several months now. After reading some of the older reviews, I can definitely say they stepped it up a notch. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always welcoming me when I enter, always pleasant. They remember my puppy and ask about him all the time. I always feel like I'm among friends when I enter. Plus, they always make it a priority to be helpful. Usually stopping whatever they're doing to do so. I'm also on a budget and there have been times where they have directed me to a cheaper brand so I'm able to get all I need AND stay within budget. Always a good...
