Alright I'm gonna try not to come off rude cuz it's not my intent but inhaleeeee..... here we go. So I first started eating at waggy dags with in the first couple days it opened it was amazing . Good soft bread toppings busting out the the top and bottom without adding extra meat. Amazing I was hooked they even had a punch card for free subs ,then idk at some point it went downhill ,probably new owners didn't go back for awhile and then it changed again back to the old school dags but better somehow amazing ....fast forward now here we are 2025 and multiple owners and at first ,still using the same names from the specialty subs ....wild for what I received meat was like 1/5 the qty of previous owners. And the bread was horrid I asked for white bread and I got some hard chewy bread with seeds all over it ...I'm not sure y they never changed the names of the subs all the way through till now but now that they have it fits cuz that italian I had was disrespectful to the old name. Im kinda sorry for ranting but I'm being very honest customer service on phone was good that's y I...
Read moreI had taken my 18 year old son with me for my first visit to pick up subs for the family on a Saturday around 5 pm and within 15 minutes they got really busy. But the staff were very polite and pleasant to talk to. Asked where we heard of them, since it was our first visit and said I saw an Instagram video from Food Reviewer Mike is eating. And my family was on board with trying them out. Ordered a BLT for my wife, the Meatball Parm for myself and our son had the Pork Bomb. All in with chips and cookies as well, I think my family and I have now found our new Friday night dinner spot. Beats out spending close to a hundred dollars at Publix just to feed three people. And I can sit down while they make the subs to order, whereas the Publix by my home has standing room only and a line of ten people when I get there. Town Hero is my new sub and sandwich spot for my family for Friday night dinner. You guys now have three new customers who will keep coming back. Thanks for the homemade food and welcoming...
Read moreToday was my first time here and all I can say is customer service is lacking. I can tell its family owned but they definitely are not welcoming or make you feel as if your business is worth there time. They all wear gloves that touch literally everything in that kitchen and i didnt see them change it once! They took meat out and left it in the counter then put it back in the fridge minutes later and took it out again and left on counter. Coming from the service industry myself i believe they should pay more attention to the temperatures of there meat. Also the cabinets are greasy the floor is filled with debris from them wiping there station onto the floor. The cleanliness can be a bit better for a establishment with a lot of exposed foods. My cesarwrap was good a bit on the dry side but it did have flavor. This place could be a real hit if they focused not only on a good video on tiktok and more on providing great service to customers especially if they are new to your...
