Grounds Internet & Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Laramie

Went in with some friends the other day. We used to go here quite a bit last year and for the most part always had good experiences. I don't know if something had gone wrong or what the issue was but our coffees were extremely watery and unpleasant to drink. We went back and they remade them without issue and they still tasted watery. We have had a lot of coffee and I can say this was the first drink I was flat-out unable to finish because of just how poorly prepared the coffee was. I had a mocha that tasted like watery chocolate milk, my girlfriend had a latte that looked like just straight milk with little to no coffee in it, our friend ordered an iced latte that tasted extremely watery as well. As much as I've enjoyed Grounds in the past I feel as though it might be difficult to set this experience aside when deciding between this establishment and the countless others...

Maybe a little disorganised and the spaghetti noodle as stirrer was eye raising (if I come back and its still in practice I'll be annoyed), the grande French roast was fine. The hum of the refrigerator is out of place in the echoing acoustics of a decent color fully painted concrete decor and the staff hadn't put on any tunes (no judgement, just a fact.) They serve wheatgrass (which simply must be a first in Laramie) though the rest of the menu appears conventional and fairly un-paleofiable. The location is nicely lower class, north of downtown, across the street from a bland brick monolith and catty-corner to a cheap weekly-rate motel. I'll come again on a weekday to see if maybe it deserves one more...

Horrible Management! Posting as a 1 star so maybe they will evaluate their life choices and decide whether they want to keep “running” this establishment. It is understaffed and the staff there was overwhelmed, hot with no fans or AC, running out of ice, and doing the absolute best they could under the circumstances. With owners/management no where to be seen… We tipped them well and did not complain about our iced latte with no ice. Owners: Have some pride in your coffee shop that actually offers great coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches. Fix your equipment and do building repairs. Get your team the help they need and make sure they are well stocked. It’s not that...
