I went in on Saturday and was told that the lady I needed to talk to was not there and to come in on Monday after work as I told them I worked until 5. I spent all day excited to talk to the lady about my wedding band and pulled up in front of the store. There were ladies inside. I walked to the door and it was locked. One lady with long hair came to the door and told me that they closed early due to the snow and that she is not allowed to open the door and asked if I could come back tomorrow. (There is literally a skiff) I of course am upset. And I told her no. I called to talk to the manager and the lady who talked to me through the glass answered and I asked for the manager and that I wanted to make a complaint. She stated that the manager is not there and that I'll have to call tomorrow or leave a message. I dont trust that the message will get to the manager. I dont trust that they will be open when I get off work tomorrow. I am SO glad I didnt leave my ring with them on Saturday. I will be going elsewhere with my business. I am so unimpressed and unhappy with this...

This Jeweler has good prices & fine items for sale. However, buyer beware, the customer service is not only unsatisfactory it is outright insulting.

The attendants at the counter & the owner of shop do not seek to please the customer, but to get the most $ for their services regardless of quality. If there is ever a dispute in the quality of service provided they immediately become defensive & demand cash for payment as if they are dealing with a criminal. They refuse to correct problems.

For example a brand new watch was taken to them to be engraved as a wedding gift. It was brand new & was given to them in perfect condition, as it was a wedding gift. The watch was engraved but seriously scratched in the process. They refused to admit to the having scratched the watch. They then proceeded to demand cash payment from the customer and accused him of being belligerent toward the staff. The owner himself refused to admit to the error.

Do not use this Jeweler they do not stand behind their work...

After multiple trips, it was still as excellent as ever. They have a wonderful selection of jewelry including rings, bracelets, earrings, watches, and necklaces each featuring a unique and beautifully cut stone. I am not a big spender so many of the things they sell I can't afford. That's okay because the price is not a factor that effects the quality of your piece and I have always left feeling satisfied. I have had a nice sales experience with the employees every time but specifically the lady that helped me today, who's name I unfortunately do not know, wrapped the necklace I bought In a beautiful marbled purple wrapping paper and tied an expertly done bow to encircle the package. I have also had limited but pleasant interactions with the jeweler and she has been helpful every time. Visit Alexander's if you're looking for something made of glittering gold or set with scintillating diamonds I think it's the best jewelry shop in town, so 6oud be missing out if...
