This is a nice mom and pop restaurant. At first sight, the portions for the plate I ordered seemed to be on the small side. After eating, I decided the portions weren't small. They were adequate. I wasn't stuffed like I am when I eat at most other places who seeve Large portions, but I was satisfied and didn't walk out with that bloated feeling. 8t was kind of refreshing to eat normal portions at a restaurant. This place really disappointed me last time I went. Food was good but I got scammed. They say you get 10 tortillas with a pound of barbacoa, but I only got 6. Not a big deal, except I got charged for ordering “extra” tortillas when in reality I didn’t get the full ten tortillas they claim to give you. I tried explaining to the clerk, but still charged me. As you might expect: just as good as the original! Great location right off Barlett, just north of Guadalupe. Come dine in or take some of their famous barbacoa by the pound to go. They give you all the fixings, tortillas, salsa, limon and repollo. Also great caldos and menudo, even a mini size menudo if you want to just try it.
