Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Laredo

I’d been to Canes many times before today and have always had a great experience.

However, this evening was very different. I’m celebrating my birthday today and my three boys chose canes for our “birthday dinner.”

I ordered, Chicken Sandwich Combo w/ Dr. Pepper Three Finger Combo w/ Half Sweet Tea - Half Lemonade 2x Kids Combos with the Hi-C Punch

We drove up I paid and when asked if I wanted the receipt I said, “no.” they provided the order and we drove off.

(I didn’t think to check the bag because as I stated before we had always had a great experience.)

We got home. (Mind you that we don’t live close to this Canes Location.)

We begin to unpack the bag and only the Three- Chicken combo and 1 Kids meal was in the bag. Nothing else. We got our 4 drinks, but not the other half.

I called Canes and spoke with the manager And he asked if I had the receipt. I told him I don’t, but we were just there. I told him the exact order and all he could tell me is that without my “receipt” there is nothing he could do.

My youngest and my oldest had split the Three Finger Combo. As per myself, I had nothing but my “half&half.”

I've only been to this place about 2 times for myself 1st time it was packed and no where to sit so I ate in my vehicle because obviously I wanted to have a hot meal not wait till I got to Mines road to eat and it be all cold. It did suck their ice machine was not working the girl that served someone else ice walked off when I was about to ask her do I waited for her to get someone's meal and yell their name I asked her twice by the 3rd time she finally got my cup she just barely put a scoop I was just over plus their drinks tasted flat I tried dr pepper and it tasted just like syrup. 2nd experience I went thru drive thu the young girl took my order I asked for a kids meal and small dr pepper. She was talking but not looking at me qhen I gave her my card and when she gave me thw receipt and card and closed the window I looked at my receipt and she charged me a 16.00 dollar meal I honked to ask her what was the caniac and she said i told you if that was your order and you said yes I told her I didnt say yes I gave you my card and you weren't even looking at me so I didnt think you were speaking to me. In terms of taste? It's 5⭐ In terms of portion size? It went from 5⭐ to 3⭐ the fries used to be thick and plenty. Now they are thin and barely enough. Same with chicken fingers. From 5⭐ to 3⭐. They were chicken fingers, now they are XL chicken nuggets. The bread is well balanced in toasting. Now for tips: 1. Avoid Curbside. They can't curbside whatsoever. One side could be lack of alert for curbside arrival. Another could be no way to see the curbside area since there's a wall in the way. Avoiding curbside can prevent the 10+ min wait at curbside area before having to get off and go get it inside, and from doing that, to notice facial expression changes of lobby attendees go sour. 2. Yes their drive thru is good and the fastest option in terms of ordering out. Only requirement is having much patience, unless use the app cart as a notepad for when you order. It will help make things faster and smoother specially if there's attendees at drive thru entrance. 3. Always go with LITE ICE for drinks. If you don't specify, your drink will be mostly slush ice and little drink. Ice is best way to dilute the fountain drinks or lemonade if it's too strong but not when...
