The service from the girls at this place was just horrible, we order the 2 for 26 and it comes in the skillet plate, well the plate was sooooo hot the meat and onion startted to burn, i gave it a few turns so it wouldnt stick to the foil paper they placed. But guess what it did! The food lost flavor and was hard we ate threw our order until we decided to make a suggestions to the waiter( or the person that brings the food to the table) and was in shock when she goes well ive beeb serving plates and noone had complained. She then offered to bring a taco with and i qoute" the same amiunt meat left in the skillet" we told her that we would think about it, since we were still eating i took the plate and accepted the free taco, and she said she would take it to the table and i told her i would stand there for it, she then proceed to yell at me what kind of tortilla i wanted, thats when i knew she wabted for me to leave so she and the other ladies could talk about me behind my back, they all made their remarks about the incident and then one goes thats the way the food is. I told her that the food was burnt not mentained hot. What a terrible service from this 3 ladies. Like if they were going to picth in to pay for the exchange of tacos....
Read moreUPDATE: 1/28/2025 Do not place orders via UBER eats &/or Door Dash. They do not take notice to the written notes nor do they even consider adding the salsas requested on the order. When I called the restaurant, the "so called Manager, Maria" says she does not have time to make sure orders are completely or correctly fulfilled because she does not have time. So, that just makes me understand that mediocre service is at the top of their list. This manager must go!
2018 Generally its a "Hit" or "miss" with this place. I only stop here for breakfast 1 - 2 a month. I order a bacon and egg taco and a potato and chorizo. During this particular visit the bacon and egg was dry the egg was not moist and fluffy, the bacon was tasty. The chorizo and potatoes...well I never saw the chorizo on the taco but it did kinda smell like chorizo, oh! and the potatoes had a bit of a reddish color to it. I am assuming it WAS cooked in chorizo. The salad/salsa bar usually has red/purple onions in vinegar. The vinegar cooks the onion and ads flavor. They soaked it in WATER! My personal opinion is if you own/run a Mexican restaurant in the USA in a border city to MEXICO don't run it mediocrely. Stay true to the flavors of Mexican cuisine and do not...
Read moreHorrible service. Will not go back. We ordered. They’re supposed to bring the food to your table. It’s 11pm. Nobody in the restaurant. The girls behind the counter are standing around chit chatting. After about 15 minutes we start to wonder where our food is. I walk up to the counter and it’s right there, obviously been sitting there awhile. I ask why they didn’t bring it or at least let us know it was ready. The girl says (pointing at a guy mopping and cleaning windows,) “we were waiting for him to take it to you.” I don’t think any further explanation is needed.
Oh and they locked the doors and turned away people at 11:30pm, the posted hours say they close at 12am.... today...
