After spending $30 on cookies, I was frustrated to find that my order was incorrect. I called ahead on my way back to the store, hoping they could start correcting the order so I wouldn’t have to wait another 20 minutes or stand in line again.

However, the manager informed me that I would need to return to the store so they could review their security cameras to confirm the mistake.

When I arrived, the manager appeared to review the footage but then told me I needed to bring the box inside for further verification. This was both inconvenient and unnecessary. I expressed my frustration, but she explained that this policy was in place because “they were used to customers lying for free cookies.”

Frankly, this response was insulting and unprofessional. Mistakes happen, but making your customers jump through hoops and treating them like potential scammers is unacceptable.
