My husband and I usually visit a different DQ location but this one opened up closer to our house. This is the second time visiting this one. The first time they got our order wrong. We ordered two blizzards with lids. We came home and I opened mine and it was completely wrong. I ordered a Reese's and ended up with something that had disgusting gummy things in it. Then last night at about 9:15pm we hit the drive thru, which was quite backed up. No problem. We waited, finally the line started moving and we placed our order, again for just two small blizzards. When we reached the window to pay and pick up our order we sat and sat and sat and sat etc .. While we watched at least 5 employees just standing around, one was even checking her phone. We were the only ones in the drive thru by this time. My husband put our car in park to wait. And wait we did. After about 10 minutes my husband started tapping the horn to try and get noticed. Nothing. By this time we've been in the drive thru over twenty minutes, for two small blizzards. Really? Again husband tapped the horn a few times and then tried waving at a few of the employees just hanging around. I finally told my my husband "we haven't paid for anything so let's just leave." He hit the horn one more time, but not a tap this time. Nothing. Again no one is in the drive thru but us and there was one car in the parking lot. Finally a young man opened the window and proceeded to ask us what our order was?????? I'm like what the heck. Husband said we've been here close to a 1/2 hour now for two small blizzards. He started apologizing and saying something to the effect that he had just gotten there and was trying to catch up. Catch up on what? It was almost 9:45pm at this point and they close at 11:00pm. You telling me you only work for an hour? Management should really look into this. So needless to say we will not be back to this location...
Read moreI tried to give this location multiple attempts to redeem themselves, but unfortunately, they couldn’t. I’d rather drive to the Park Boulevard location than be subjected to the customer service at this location. I’ve ordered a cone with sprinkles and gotten less sprinkles than a dime. They also charge money for an additional sauce while if you go to the Park Boulevard location, it’s free. They give you half the fries that a normal order should have compared to the location in Park Boulevard. The demeanor at the drive-through is never pleasant. The workers are constantly trying to rush you through your order, and basically cut you off when you’re trying to speak. I feel like this location is completely lacking customer service all together from the food to the lack of friendly greetings to their impatience with you. Basically at this location all customers are a nuisance which is unfortunate since I wanted to like this location so much, but unfortunately I’m just going to have to stick to the wonderful location on Park Boulevard. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra eight minutes to get to the Park Boulevard location since that place will treat you with excellent...
