I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and I the hairstylist only planned to work with my daughter. Prices were never communicated with me before going in. She charged us full price for haircuts when we both only had trims. I asked for a blonde root touch up and she fried my hair off. I understand I have fine blonde hair but I take good care of my hair. On the other hand my daughter loved her hair and got fashion colors. The price was outrageous to have my hair fried off and the roots not fully touched up.

I chose your salon specifically because I could schedule both my daughter and myself at the same time. This is something I have done for years, and it is critical when booking my hair appointments. I have the messages where this was made clear in my search for a salon. When I arrived, the stylist admitted she did not have me scheduled. I then offered to reschedule and return for my appointment at a later time, but she insisted she could squeeze me in. If she had simply rescheduled, perhaps things would have turned out differently.

Instead, much of the time I spent in the chair, she chatted with her friend in the booth across from us about an upcoming trip to New Jersey for a hair styling conference and how her family would be chaperoning them from place to place, having a wonderful, joyous time.

I specifically asked for a trim and to have my roots redone, as they had grown out significantly. After nine months of regrowth, there was an obvious demarcation line—something that is clearly visible in the pictures I shared. If the stylist had any doubt about what she was doing, she should have communicated that to me instead of frying my hair and hoping for the best.

I was unaware of your pricing and that you did not offer pricing on trims but instead treated them as full haircuts. That being said, no pricing was communicated to me until I got the bill.

I doubt there is anything you can do—short of a refund—that would begin to satisfy me, but I am not the expert. For the top-tier pricing I paid, I should not be dealing with the level of damage I have now. When your stylist bleached my hair and then ran a paddle brush through it while it was still wet, I was shocked, but I am not the professional. She burnt my hair, caused it to fray and break, and left me with short, broken strands sticking out all over my head—including a patch at the very front that I cannot hide.

I will not be told that my experience was anything other than what it was. My experience was valid. If there was any miscommunication, it was not on my end—I have the messages to prove it. THE NAIL ARTIST: I really believe Katie is on her way to becoming one of The Best Nail Artists on this side of The Bay #TampaBay and is definitely one of the Best in #Largo! I was attracted to her portfolio, because of the various shapes, lengths and designs she is able to create. I wanted long #CoffinNails with specific color combinations and effects... she definitely delivered! Next time I will probably go with something more modest, so its awesome to know that I can go to her for ANY style! Katie is cool and confident in her work and demeanor. Communication is always a pet peeve of mine at most of those other in-and-out type of salons - there's nothing worse than spending your hard earned money on a half-baked version of what you were expecting all because the tech didn't understand or care. THE SPA: The atmosphere feels calm, peaceful and pampered. Most importantly - Cleanliness is a big issue for me and I did not feel that I had to question cleanliness anywhere in the facility. Something about it here just feels #LUXE. I love the added touch of green plants giving something pretty and natural to be surrounded by, along with the window facade bringing in natural day light or views of the captivating colorful sunsets depending on time of day. Jill goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are happy. She goes out of her way to buy nice high end long lasting products ( professional acyclic powder, nail decals, particular colors, LV, Gucci, Channel, butterflies, flowers, hearts, crystals, hearts, beach/fall themed, she’ll even custom order something custom for you). I love going to V Hair Salon and seeing happy smiling faces like Jill. She has a great personality, talented, very professional and I enjoy seeing her. She always makes my day each time I come in and more importantly she makes sure I’m happy before I leave the salon I’ve been getting acrylic encapsulations for 8 years and I’ve never seen someone spend this much time and quality on me. I’ve finally found the one!! After going from nail tech to nail tech (mind you leaving with crooked nails) over the years I’ve never seen someone do Ombré, marble, freestyles, style/shape and more as beautiful as Jill.
