Im really disappointed because I really like the food here but the people here are just rude. In October I participated in trunk or treat as a sponsor in largo central park basicly right across the street, and I walked over to grab a burger. I hadn't been here in a couple years so this was my first visit under current ownership/management. Even though the food is still pretty good but the service was terrible and the girl behind the register was just plain rude.I wrote it off as a hectic day and have continued to come back for the past few months. In the 9 or ten visits I have made in the past few months I have never gotten a smile, any attempt at small talk has been shot down with a rude reply or a blank stare. Now today she took my order and asked if it was here or to go. I said "I'll take it here thank you. I've got some time to kill, I'd rather eat at a table than my car". She brought my order out in a to go bag. I said "I'm sorry but this order was for here not to go. And she said oh. Well you take it to go. REALLY!?As a restaurant owner myself I understand the stress and grind of the restaurant business but if you don't like your job, get another one!! Another thing I learned as a successful restaurant owner is a satisfied customer will tell a few people about their experience, an unhappy customer who is not satisfied with the service or their experience will tell EVERYONE!!!!! Really when you're serving the same thing as everyone else and your food is just ok. Not bad at all but nothing original or special about it either, you have to at least have a good attitude and someone with a smile at the front of the house. I will be taking my money to go elsewhere from now on. Thanks...
Read moreWell, depending on who's there ? There is definitely a language gap. I ordered a meat ball sub for there, and they tried charging me 17.63$ for a 10$ sub and told me my card was declined. I showed them my cash balance and the amount they tried charging. They were convinced my card was declined, even though I proved to them that they almost charged me almost 18$ for the sub, and my card wouldn't let that go threw. I had to insit they run it again because they truly believed they didn't make a mistake even with proof. Then after that hassle ? I waited patiently for my food after taking a 130 min bus ride to the area. For them to rap up my" for here" order and put it in a bag. I was so frustrated with the lack of understanding that I didn't bother asking for a tray or sat down in a booth. I went to the park and ate my food on a bench outside in the heat instead, as a paying customer. Poor work ethic, overpriced food, with a lack of communication. No thanks,...
Read moreI've been passing by here for years and finally pulled the trigger for lunch here last week.
As always I want to order everything off the menu but alas I ordered two sandwiches and an appetizer.
My favorite was THE WORKZ which is their steak sub with Bell Peppers, Mushrooms and Mildly Hot Banana peppers. It was tasty and the bread was soft and amazing. It was the right amount of steak and toppings. My second fav was their Eggplant Parm Sandwich. The only thing I wish this sandwich had was more sauce. Next time, I will get some on the side. Then I saw a previous review which called for the Breaded Mushrooms. I'm glad I did that as they were deep fried perfectly and the quantity was just right!
If you plan on getting your order to go, I would call ahead of time perhaps 10 minutes ahead of time. That seems to be the right play to make for this place.
The staff is friendly and there is enough parking so that shouldn't...
