I went here for the first time tonight. Our friends ordered an entire pizza while my husband and I ordered garlic knots and 3 slices between the 2 of us. Our friends were almost done with their pizza before our slices finally came out however mine came with bits of sausage on it, which I don't eat so I sent it back and decided to eat our garlic knots instead. None of this is the problem I had with the restaurant because I know that mistakes happen. My problems happened after that. Our server mentioned to me 3 times afterwards that she wouldn't charge me for the pizza I didn't eat, which didn't need to be mentioned at all since of course you're not charging me for a slice I didn't eat with toppings I didn't ask for! Then our bill came and she had charged us incorrectly and charged our friends for our garlic knots. At this point we tried to explain basic math to our server because we were overcharged for my husband's pizza slices (which was 2 for 5 + .50 for an extra topping as opposed to the 2.99 she charged us plus .50 for the extra topping). It was at this point I asked to speak to a manager. Our server ignored me and kept trying to justify her poor math skills so I had to ask again for a manager, which was also ignored and finally a 3rd time before she left to get one. Another server came to our table and started speaking to my friends and then I asked if she was the manager, at which point she rudely interupted me to shut me up and say that we wouldn't be charged at all and there wasn't a manager on staff....something the first server could have said, had that been true. They also didn't give us a chance to correct the bill so our friends wouldn't be charged for our garlic knots. Both servers were so incredibly rude when they were 100% in the wrong! I'm glad they comped our meal, it was the right thing to do, however they went about it in such a rude and dismissive manner which was all the more insulting from an incompetent server. Read moreDON'T ORDER DELIVERY from this place. About a year ago we gave up on ordering delivery from Mike's because of consistent problems with our orders. Out of fours orders, they gave us gift cards on our account twice because of problems. Last night we decided to give Mike's a try again, because SURELY they would have fixed their delivery problems within a year. NOPE. I was told my food would arrive in 45 minutes, it arrived in an hour and a half. My kids order was incomplete. My food arrived incorrectly. Their cheese fries (which were recommended to me by the guy who took my order) were barely cheese fries at all. I called them up and explained the situation, they offered to bring out the rest of my kids food. The owner herself delivered the rest of my kids food, and when I explained to her the problems, her response was "Sir, it's delivery", as if to say, what did you expect? After she left, I was going to let it go, but her comment really upset me, so I called back and requested a refund. They first said they could only refund what was not eaten, then said they needed to come back and pick up the food. So I said fine, I'm tired of dealing with this, come get it. I packed up all the food, and waited in my driveway for 30 MINUTES for someone to get the food back. NO ONE SHOWED UP! I called Mike's back and the manager told me that it was their dinner rush and no one was going to come and that they would just give me the refund and we could keep the food. THEY SHOULD HAVE SAID THAT BEFORE I STOOD OUTSIDE FOR 30 MINUTES!! Because of this whole ordeal, my kids stayed up an hour later than they normally do, I didn't get to read them their bedtime story, but they "hope that issuing the refund would make [me] happy." Read moreLike so many other reviewers, I was a loyal customer at least once a week. I order the same thing every time. I always ask for extra sauce, and only get extra sauce about 25% of the time. I’d be happy to pay for it, I just like a little extra sauce on the pasta. The food quality is also hit or miss. The last time I ordered, the delivery took a while and when I happened to go outside to take the dog out, I noticed the delivery guy was sitting in his car, on his phone. He apologized and said he didn’t have my number to call so he could get into the building, and he couldn’t reach anyone at the restaurant, but he had been there for 5 minutes. When I unpacked the (cold) food, surprise, again, no extra sauce, and it definitely wasn’t already on the pasta. The salads were rotten, and finally I was frustrated enough by the inconsistencies and feeling like we were wasting our money, that I called and asked to speak with a manager. I was put on hold, then was asked what my call was about. I responded with, “food quality or lack thereof.” I was put on hold again, then was told there was no manager available. I said, you have to have someone in the building who is certified in food safety, and asked to speak to that person. Hold again, then was told that person was unable to talk because they were in the kitchen. They offered to listen to the issues and have the owner or manager call me back the following day.
