Starbucks — Restaurant in Largo

I had to work on a mother's day. Being a single mom, and my mom is divorced we wanted to do a simple moment, before work at 8AM. We checked to make sure it was open. It opened at 6 am we got there maybe 6:20 ish. Firstly, it looked closed. The outside seating was stacked in the lobby, I was dark So I got out to check if maybe it was drive thru only, NOPE! Door was unlocked and they said sry we just opened. Hey things happen totally wasn't bothered YET. So my mom tried the new nitro cold brew coffee. And it was over 4 dollars (theres a reason I say that) So I paid and use my app. So then I ordered my go to drink a venti caramel frappuccino w w espresso shot and extra caramel drizzle. That is about 6 dollars. I also have it on my app. So we are watching then make our drinks (my favorite part) and the woman (who I found out is the manager) started my drink And I said pls dont forget extra drizzle, and she said ok well i can dump sum in. Now I thought it was more of a joke. But no she took the lid off and dumped a HUGE amount into the cup. My mom held the drinks because there was nothing to sit on outside. And we went outside About 5 mins or so went by and another young lady named Nikki came walking up to Starbucks to work and she asked if we got our own chairs and we said ya no biggie but I (thinking she was a manager) said maybe talk w the lady in the strip shirt and I told her what happened and showed her She said wow let me remake it, I had drunk a good amount so I declined. Just for future, that's when she told me she wasn't a manager the person who was the unfriendly lady dumping caramel was! Wow! So me and my mom finish up and nikki comes over and says the next two drinks are on us. I said ty and honestly she was awesome ! So today I ordered the exact drink venti caramel frappuccino extra drizzle, no espresso. Get to the window hand the card and they said u owe 1.62? What? She said this is for 4 dollars off ur next drink! I paid the money and looked at the other card. Neither one of my drinks were less than 4 dollars so why give me something with out being honest! Horrible...

I really wish I could give 0 stars. I went through on Monday 4/11 to get my morning coffee. I spend a lot of money here. I had plastic in my drink which I ingested and it either cut my throat or got stuck. I called them, I was supposed to hear back from both the district manager and general manager and I still have not heard from either one. When I talked with the supervisor, she said "the new cups are defective and I've been trying to wipe them out" so they are fully aware of this issue. I went home and threw up as well as it feels like something is stuck on my throat. I gave them some time to give me a call back and haven't heard anything so I called corporate, the first call I made, I was hung up on when I gave my information and the guy was not very nice at all. The second time I asked for a supervisor, she pretty much brushed it off with "well if you get medical attention, just send info to this email" and proceeded to end the call. No talk about refunding or getting over to the right department right away. She just brushed it off. I'm beyond frustrated and am about to go to the Ent and also look at filing a lawsuit as 2 days later, my throat...

First and last time I go to any starbucks! For such an upscale looking establishment I expected some sort of greeting which I did not receive. They get one star for the young girl at the counter who was friendly and knew the name of the type of drink I was looking for. Their menu does NOT state anywhere that whip cream automatically comes on your drink so I was extremely disappointed when I wasn't asked and the young boy slid the drink to me from behind the counter without even a glance in my direction! He must serve this way as it did not go off the counter. As disappointed as I was instead of being the rude person I wanted to be I simply looked at him and said "yeah, you can have that" and walked out. For the price it was smaller than expected but they should always ask for some people like me don't like my frozen coffee with whip cream. How extremely disappointed at a $5 waste of time and money for something I couldn't even attempt to try all because of a simple gesture as question that couldn't have been asked....
