Customer on 9Nov22 Applebee's is not what it used to be. Haven't been in almost 3 years. Totally sucks now. I ordered curb side. Got there before my time. Got a message from the app saying they saw I was there and my food would be right out. After 15 minutes I walked in. Chick at side register mad dogged me. I walked in further looking for a hostess/greeter/somebody...A woman came out of the kitchen to talk to the woman at the register. There was 2 tables seated, about 4 to six people at the bar and a poor woman, obviously being ignored waiting to be seated. I said, excuse me, I ordered curb side and need to pick up. The woman who came out took my name and disappeared into the kitchen. When she returned, she asked my name again, and deferred me to the bartender, saying, she'll take care of you. Bartender was cordial, but didn't seem to interested. However, she did go back into the kitchen to retrieve my order. After about 5 minutes she returned with it. The food was cold, the boneless chicken wings/nuggets were hard and tasted old. I would rather eat hotdogs from a gas station than eat Applebee's ever again. If I had not spoken up and asked where my order was, I would probably still be standing there waiting. And they want 15 an hour?!? I gave a 20% tip when ordering so I don't think it was because I was cheap. I usually tip on average 25 to 30 percent depending on service rendered. I will not be patronizing the E. Lohman location and I hope that anyone reading this if they decide to test their luck has a better experience because they sure don't care about...
Read moreWaitress was really nice and the food we ordered was good. The place was a little dead but aside from that no problems until the end. We were checking out using the kiosk. Our waitress came back up to the table telling us that we needed to check out. We let her know we had just finished paying with the kiosk she looked at us questioningly and left the table. She came back to let us know the kiosk wasn't working. We handed the card so that she could process it again. It was processed the same as it previously was. Just to be sure we checked our bank account and it showed both charges.We pulled up the account to show her and she went back to check the system. She came back again to tell us that the tab was actually still open and that we needed to pay AGAIN! She was trying to explain that the computer she used wasn't processing the payment. Concerned that we would get a 3rd charge we asked if we could speak to the manager. He came up with out letting us speak saying how the kiosk was broken and how we needed to pay again. I showed him my bank statement and without looking at them he continued repeating that we needed to pay. When I asked what I should do if it charges me three times he blew it off and said that the charges will not go through without giving me another answer or a person to contact. Read moreWORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! Went to the bar to pickup online order after having waited 15 mins outside. I asked the bartender to check on my order and she brushes me off and tells me someone will be with me. (no help at all) 10 more minutes later, I was asked if I had been helped. Food still wasn't ready. The young blonde who works expo literally slams the food into mine and other person's chests as if our online orders bothered her. No words spoken. No eye contact... Nothing.
That wasn't the first rude experience with that blonde expo worker, but the FIFTH! I recall hearing her talk trash about me asking how long on my order to the cooks in the past.
The manager doesn't set a good example either. I asked him how long on my order on the same night that I hear the blonde talking trash and his response was "whenever it's ready" as he walked past me. That was the first time I even spoke to that man. To his credit, he did apologize after I requested that he come out and speak to me.
