Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Las Cruces

How can reviews be so different? Not only did we stand around five minutes ignored until we finally decided to seat ourselves, but the place is dismal in appearance. We should have gone with our gut feeling to just leave. Yes, prices are "good," unless you realize you're paying for awful food. I'm sure this is a little mom and pop place, but it's dreadful. It is served nicely, looks good, tastes....no. THIS is considered the best Chinese food in Cruces? Cruces has NO decent Chinese food, none. I ate some of the vegetables out of the (bland) Curried Chicken, but the greasy little plops of chicken made me nauseated. I am giving two stars because I don't have the heart to give it just one. First time customer i was very disappointed with my order never had angle hair pasta in a lo mean. I ordered shrimp lo mean and got 4 little ones also my order had alot of veggies and a small amount of the lo mean. I also ordered a sweet and sour chicken and a sesame chicken I got chicken that looked like a pre made chicken finger cut up after it was cooked it also had a soggy coating they also didn't cook the sesame chicken in the sauce gave me a small cup of sauce to put over the soggy chicken. Finally the shrimp fried rice was poor was really dark to much soy sauce no egg 2 shrimp I would not recommend this place can't find any real Chinese...

The cook in this place needs to quit. We ordered shrimp fried rice and got some damn nasty ass steam rice that was brown. Wow them we had some orange chicken. Let me tell you, and I'm not lying. It was chopped up children and and side of orange sauce who does this. Where do they do this at. My shrimp fried rice only had 3 damn shrimp in it. I'm so tired of these places saying they have fried rice and it's not . If that place wasn't closed I would throw this food at them. I'm very very upset at what I got.
