I would NOT recommend this place , a waste of $170. If I could give it 0 stars I would. We ordered the Thanksgiving ready to serve meal since our oven broke and the new one was not going to be delivered in time. It was an absolutely terrible experience all around! They forgot the sweet potato casserole, the dressing was dry, the ham in the sampler was dried out, the mashed potatoes tasted like they were powdered (the kind made with not enough water even with the gravy added), and despite what the picture shows and no mention otherwise, the spiral ham pictured under the sides under the catering menu apparently is an overpriced frozen ham (heat and serve). The website also showed a picture of the ready to serve meal with a small turkey which made sense since it is designed to serve 6. Nope, it came with sliced turkey in a foil bin. The didn't even bother to put in the serving spoons or utensils that they listed on the receipt. So I call the store, ask for a manager and waited over 10 minutes for a 3 minute call to be told I can come in for "a free meal to replace the missing sweet potato casserole". The manager actually admitted she had never looked at the website so she did not know about the discrepancies (the ham, the turkey, lack of/misleading information) . She stated she would "pass the information to the higher ups about the website". She continued on to explain that they never give full turkeys out only sliced turkey in bins with dressing in the bin with it. Her response to the ham was it is frozen and that was it. I asked her how I was supposed to cook it since that was the point of the catered hot and ready meal and she said nothing, just asked if we wanted to come pick up the sweet potato casserole. I told her about the food quality and disappointment with the $170 spent and she didn't even apologize. The manager did not offer the free meal until I declined to come out to get the casserole several times stating to her it was a 30 minute drive and she heard my son in the background say he was not going out either. She didn't even ask for my order number to look it up when I first informed her there was an issue or my number to call me back. Throughout the entire call she never asked for my order number. She only took my name for the "free meal" so I am not even sure if that will be honored. Sadly this is the customer service that is given at the supervisory level so it is not a surprise that the employees provided this level of customer service. The manager was obviously trained poorly to give this minimal level of customer service to offer a free meal to someone calling in complaining about the quality of food. Seriously? As if we would want more bad food even if it was free. You can have your overpriced frozen Smithfield imitation ham back, refund my $170 and call it a day.

We ate here on Friday, Dec 10, 2021. Food was good, overall. Our server was a huge disappointment, a bad attitude from the start. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Our food wasn't hot, but it was lukewarm. The pumpkin latte, was a plain latte. We don't eat pork, but our waitress told us none of the food we were ordering contained pork. We later learned our gravy had pork in it. Our waitress, Tahereh G, was very unfriendly until she brought our check. She spilt water on my husband, but didn't apologize. We asked for the blackberry jam. She walked by and tossed it down on our table. Crazy. We didn't have napkins, we had to request them several times. Our basket of biscuits had three and a half biscuits. What happened to the other half, was it a leftover from another customer? We always have good experiences at El Paso Cracker Barrel and would rather drive there than deal with a rude server. Oh, then when we checked out, the cashier, Karissa, didn't even ask us about how our food and/or service was. She wasn't rude, but lacked the friendly customer service Cracker Barrel is known for. All of this falls back on management and training. 😕

ATMOSPHERE: You can be raised on Mars and somehow Cracker Barrel feels like home. The menu is spilling over with food that will warm the body and soul. The outside hosts rocking chairs to relax before or after a full belly. There's a jam-packed gift shop that separates the entrance/exit and the dining areas. The gift shop has local gear, cooking tools, dresses, candy, and tons of other items. SERVICE: Short version. The young lady Jaden who helped me was super nice, quick with service, and very welcoming. long version: The service on a Sunday (circa early 2022) was smooth as usual. Host at front to get you started, intercom calls your name, and a separate hosting station introduces you to your waiter or waitress. They have a super efficient system set up. There was a waiter who had the job of literally standing on lookout ,waiting for people to leave so they can clean up after them. Not only that, there was separate individual who would walkie the host letting them know a table had become available as soon as the table was clean. PRO TIP: Set aside a minimum of 5 minutes to use the rocking chair. Worth it.

Definitely don’t usually write reviews but I had to this time. Usually my family and I love Cracker Barrel but this is the first time that we’ve gone and had an absolutely terrible experience. Charlie was our waitress, and did a horrible job. At first we gave her grace because she seemed new with her mannerisms and spilling my husbands apple juice on him a little as he was holding our 3 month old. That wasn’t the issue, if anything, that had me keep in mind that maybe she was new. To be fair, we also had a party of 6 so we had already waited a bit to be seated as well so we were ready to eat. Once we were seated we waited around an hour to get any of our food that came out in portions and I didn’t get any parts of my meal until everyone else at our table had already finished. meanwhile 2 larger parties that arrived after us got their food before us and even were able to leave before we got all of our food. I would understand if it had been because the kitchen was just slammed but charlie had to keep coming back at least 3 times to ask what we were missing without writing anything down and just seemed annoyed and increasing came back with attitude towards us. None of us had been rude towards her or demanding in any way shape or form besides just telling her what we were missing when we were asked. She didn’t refill our drinks, didn’t bring little things we asked for like honey or creamer for our coffee, and the cherry on top was when she brought out the last portion of what we ordered for my brother (about an hour and a half of waiting at this point) and rolled her eyes as she sat it down and walked away. My husband and I even looked at each other to be sure that we both saw that. Other than that, the manager came over and tried to help fix the situation and it was thanks to him we got out the food we were missing in the first place and even discounted our meal. The food was good but Charlie’s service was absolute trash and I feel like we kept even trying to make excuses for her saying maybe she was new, maybe they’re just super busy but then it just got to the point where we couldn’t make any excuses for her bad attitude and were even taken aback by it. Do...

This location is in Las Cruces, NM. Service was not existent. Waited to get seated for about 20 minutes, no worries it is always busy. Once seated it took a little while to order, also no worries, it's busy. Got drinks after an additional wait. Drank them, did not get any refills for about 45 minutes. Once we did get refills asked about our food because others around us, and seated after us, had been served. Was told it would be checked on and they would bring us some corn bread. At that point we noticed, yeah where was the corn bread that everyone else had on their table? Sever returned after a wait and said they "were just finishing up the order with final touches but I'm sorry to tell you it will be another 15 minutes.". It was not said in a believable way, and was condescending tone. We knew they just got started on our order and after waiting as long as we did for corn bread ( just over 1 hour) decided it was time for us to leave rather than wait any longer. On the way out I told the server, "you are not being truthful to us, you just got started on our order and we are leaving". I tried to get a bill for the drinks but she would not give the receipt to us. She would not give it to us, my guess is because it had the time or order on it. Either she didn't put it in, or it would show how long we had been waiting. She then said" you can be an a$$hole all day but it is not her fault they are busy". Alrighty, I'll be a$$hat but you could have given us a warning if the kitchen was that backed up, it wasn't in my opinion, because others seated after us got food. She messed up and was blaming others. If she would have just explained herself truthfully we may have waited more. It really doesn't matter, because I will not be back at this location for a...
