Upon getting our drinks in a carrier last night my boyfriend immediately felt liquid on his lap. He pulled out a drink and there was a hole on its side with soda flowing out. We pulled over and told an employee who said she would remake it. The liquid kept pooling in his lap and he found another drink with a puncture. The worker was still standing by the window watching soda and water pour all over my car without a second thought. She said she’d remake the entire order but was unapologetic and didn’t care at all.
The GM called me today and basically told me it was impossible they would send out drinks with holes in them… even though our carrier had no holes and we received the order in the carrier. She wouldn’t even let me speak, just kept interrupting me telling me they would never do that.
Disgusting customer service.
Edit: a few days after I made a corporate complaint about the GMs behavior, I got a call from her saying she spoke to the area supervisor, Eddie, who told her to allow me to get my car detailed and bring them the receipt for reimbursement.
While I appreciate the gesture, I never once asked for any type of compensation for my car. My initial and second complaint to corporate were about the treatment I received from the employees and the GM. I will not be taking the offer because it was never about money.

Watched as several vehicles at least 8 to 10 vehicles come up to the drive thru box, proceed to the window, get their food and take off very quickly. We were in a stall and apparently even when you tip they don't like to do their job of walking right out the door to your car. We were there over 16 minutes for a simple order for 2 people. Bacon Egg and Cheese Toaster Combo meal and a Sausage Burrito Combo meal. After waiting 16 minutes we walked inside to see what is going on and to get our order to be met by the carhop "tawny" and she proceeded to be extremely rude instead of apologizing. Gave me some lie and I told her I worked for Sonic for YEARS and no manager I ever had would EVER allow us to treat ANY customer this way. Also, I was the only vehicle in the stalls on the side I was on. This is ridiculous to treat customers this way and unacceptable. VERY POOR customer service and I would not be surprised if this miserable Carhop treats several others in the same way. Such awful behavior I am writing a dang novel over the awful experience. Read moreI don’t think I’ve really had any bad experiences at this sonic, and I’m not usually one to leave a review, but this visit sucked. My sister and I just ordered two blasts and not only did it take nearly twenty minutes the first time we drove through, mind you there was only one car in front of us, but our blasts weren’t even mixed. In fact, they were just ice cream, there were only topping on it but not in it. When we went back through to get it fixed the lady was arguing about how she put like five scoops of brownies and that she made sure it was in there but we literally mixed it in front of her and showed her that it was just ice cream and she rolled her eyes and went to fix it and that took nearly ten more minutes. Not to mention the fact that she didn’t know how to count and gave us the wrong change. I get people need jobs but if they can’t perform the basic functions of those jobs, like basic math, then they shouldn’t be working. Damn near thirty minutes for two blasts that weren’t even made...
