The Game Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Las Cruces

I bought a house Margarita that was $5 something.. it took me about an hour and a half to drink it. Then I bought a margarita with Patron and when the waiter bought it to me I took a sip of it and it was a regular Margarita like the first one and that one was $10. I got up took it back to the waiters and told him that it wasn't a margarita made with Patron. they talked to the waiter and she said she had made it with Patron. I told him no it was a house Margarita just like the first one and did not have Patron. I told him I know the difference between a regular Margarita and when that's made with Patron. The manager came and he told me that he watch them make my margarita with Patron. I then told him oh she specifically watch to make my margarita with Patron. He stated she had. Wow so I must have been very special after these waiters make hundreds of drinks and they don't pinpoint who they're serving at 2 but my margarita was special because it was made with Patron. The first margarita was $5. The second Margarita That was supposed to have been made with Patron was $10 of which I only took a sip and took back to the bartenders. So I paid a tab of $17.97 for two drinks of which the second one I only took a sip of. I will never return to that place again! Esperé bastante tiempo haber si alguien ponía atención y creo que no por eso publico hasta hoy Today, November 17, 2023, we had a very embarrassing incident with one of your waitresses. I have never felt so embarrassed and disrespected in any restaurant. After paying the bill, we were leaving the patio. The waitress approached screaming and grabbing my husband's arm. saying that the money was not enough I had to tell her to calm down please that I was going to check if there was a mistake she kept yelling and saying that it was not enough and my husband told her yes and told her she was really upset because we just left 5 dls tip, which was because we didn't like the service, saying that he wasn't going to be serving for free, he wanted to force us to give more tip, I don't know, it wasn't counted correctly, I don't know either, we asked to speak to the manager Tony, who was really very kind and he said no. They were ways of treating a customer. She offered us a discount that we did not accept because the food was really good. I hope you talk to her and it never happens to any customer. Obviously, I removed the 5 dls tip and left the exact amount on my account. Please check the cameras and see that that is not right. It was between 10 and 11 at night ...

The Game in my opinion is a local staple. My classmates at nmsu and I would come here after class to talk about everything, have a typically very well made drink and maybe a good shot. The atmosphere feels cozy, there are sports fans, there families, and they're all there because the game has a large variety of food to satisfy any craving or need! The service is always nice and polite, this may be my preference but they always seem naturally friendly like they're not trying to kiss up but just are real generally friendly people and pretty chill! There have been very few times (I think only once or twice honestly, and I've been there A LOT) where I left wanting a little more. I'm never surprised when I see local folx who I recognize and come up and say hi. This is a great place to meet with friends and family in a safe and casual and welcoming environment. The patio IS smoker friendly so if that is not your cup of tea (I am asthmatic so I try to avoid second hand) maybe request to sit inside. The Game is my go to, and based on how busy it can be, I think it's half of las cruces'...
