Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Las Cruces

This place has been a staple and fast food anchor, an original one, for as long as i can remember. Intetesteresting thing about Der Wienerschnitzel or sans the "der"," but I still refer to it that way. Not sure when that changed but this place is located in only 18 states and they are truly special in my very humble opinion for that, coupled with the. fact that every franchise is almost, it seems in reading about it, guaranteed to make a very decent chunk of profit. Its in very high demand.. has the one and only that i know of, proprietary brand of their own hot dog chili... and THAT is pretty damn genius. Love them or hate them... either one extreme or the other-

How Id love to have the capital required to open one of these franchises.

They had some absolutely amazing vegan dogs last year, im unaware if they were a test run, but again- love em or hate em, they have withstood almost utter commercial decimation of the El Paseo business corridor and however long they have been at this location (there is another on North Main/Hwy 70, which is newer... the one on lohman was torn down and a chick fil a is there now-- (that place almost has its' own roundabout for traffic control.. in its parking lot... :-/ )

Wienerschnitzel is and hopefully always will be one of rocks that is the foundation for good things coming out tiny and unexpected places.

i will also mention again that the fast food industry has been a very unexpected overachiever during these pandemic times and I sincerely hope their pay rates have been substantially increased, and also hope people have a very different opinion now of the fast food "minimum" wage workers. Here in this city, (which now has an all female city council,:-) ) the minimum wage was raised. Many of the former fed min wage careers and jobs, needed that because like it or not, these are the backbones of what can be a spineless economy, if they didnt exist.

The lemonade pineapple ... pineapple lemonade... here is amazing also. :-)

We decided to have wienerschnitzel for dinner. We got home, started eating. I had ordered unsweetened Iced Tea for my drink so I go to get some sweet & low and opened the lid and there was a fly floating around. So I immediately call and ask for the MOD. She asked what I ordered so I went through the list of my order and she said "oh I remember you, what's the problem?" so I explain to her and she asks what I would like to do. I told her that I wanted a refund because I wasn't going to continue eating with who knows what else can be in my food. So she said I have to take back EVERYTHING I ordered and if I had already eaten anything she wouldn't be able to refund that item. I hadn't eaten but a couple bites so I packed up ALL my families food, my kids were hungry and took it all the way back. when I got there she didn't say not one word to me, no "I'm sorry" nothing. she just took the receipt from me, walked away and came back with my money an just put it in my hand and still NO SORRY! I will NEVER eat at this place again and will refer others not too as well! Thanks for the flies Weinerschnitzel and the...

They gave me a cold hot dog.......... For my dog, and he loved it. It was called a k9, and was a very awesome surprise. The cashier, according to the receipt, I guess his name is Madison, is one of the most delightful people I've run across in a long time. The food came out quick, they are very efficient. When we got home, boy, was I in for a treat, as always. Delicious is an understatement. The froot loop shake is like the kind of treat you'd dream about when you were a kid eating a bowl of cereal in of the tv on a Saturday morning. I'd have had the whole thing, if I weren't lactose intolerant. Between the Cabo, Aussie, and Texas fries, they were all another pleasant surprise. I also had the Cabo and Aussie dogs, Im not a fan of barbecue sauce on my long steak, so, I didn't get that one. Went ahead and have the polish sandwich a shot, if you do, too, I'd suggest spicy mustard on it, and for it's price point, it can't be beat, really. Cucumber lemonade is absolutely, hands down, my favorite lemonade ever. Pretty much anything you order is going to...
