I have been going to this restaurant since 2000. The prices were great, excellent food and service. I didn't pay for my 4 year old daughter until she was 6. We continued to eat here every time we visited Vegas. I moved to Vegas 16 years ago still patronizing my favorite place. It's January 28, 2024 and I'm treating my family for dinner. I have never been to a buffet that charged for toddlers by height. My grandson who is 3 was taller than the 2 foot counter they use as a guide. They charged me the kid price of $15.49 for him. I was LIVID is an understatement! He wasn't going to eat $5 worth of food. I asked were they under new management. I probably shouldn't have yelled. The boy behind the register started to raise his voice at me and he was quickly put in his place by the man behind me in line. I paid the $180 bill including a 15% gratuity. That is supposed to go to the server, and I'm sure she didn't get any of that money. A lot of food options were missing and we came at 4pm so the seafood would be out. I watched as other patrons came in with full view of the payment screen. I noticed others not paying for their toddlers. I have no other conclusion except they charged me because I was African American. This once again had me livid! They specifically measured my grandson and didn't do that to the others with toddlers. I DON'T RECOMMEND PATRONIZING BUFFET@ASIA IF YOU'RE AFRICAN AMERICAN BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE TREATED FAIRLY IF YOU HAVE TODDLERS. BUFFET@ASIA ON SAHARA AND RAINBOW IS RACISTS!! I can say that because I WITNESSED IT AS WE WERE SINGLED OUT. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH THE OWNER!!! They charged me $35 for tip and my 3 year old grandson. I have always tipped well, just ask Angela the only original employee left. She wasn't there this past Sunday, and she knows our family. She greeted us with a hug. I would have gladly given Angela a $20 tip. Restaurants that put the tips in the till can't be trusted to treat their employees fairly by giving them the 15% gratuity. I may NEVER eat at the BUFFET@ASIA, SAHARA AND RAINBOW LOCATION AGAIN ANY TIME SOON. THIS REVIEW DOES NOT PERTAIN TO THE OTHER VEGAS LOCATIONS. I'M SURE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT MY REVIEW. THE SUPER BOWL WILL BE IN VEGAS IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND I WILL BE POSTING THIS REVIEW ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS! YOU WILL LEARN TO TREAT ME AND ALL LIKE ME THE SAME WAY YOU TREATED YOUR OTHER PATRONS WHO DIDN'T PAY FOR THEIR TODDLERS!!!!! THE FOOD SCORE IS A 2 OUT OF 5 FOR NOT TASTING AS GOOD AS IT ONCE DID. THEY HAD SEVERAL MISSING FOOD ITEMS...

It has been a while since I've been here and pass it frequently. I came in for lunch today and the place was packed. With tax it was $16.79 , about what you would pay for a popular take out chain. I was seated right away at the bar since I was alone , which was fine. The service was quick for it to be so busy. Got my drink order in right away and when I was about half on my drink , she gave me a refill. Half the time I have to flag someone down for a refill at other restaurants because they never seem to come back and check on you even to bring the bill.

The Chicken entrees were better than the Beef entrees. The Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings were the Star ! Wow , so good. They were just the right crispiness and great flavor. The Chicken Skewers were good too. I also had the Spicy Chicken , Szechuan Chicken , and Teriyaki Chicken. The Spicy Chicken was cooked with Jalapeno Slices and was pretty good. I tried the Mongolian Beef and another beef entree and I didn't like either one.

The Fried Rice was okay , but nothing to brag about and the noodles unfortunately were cold both times I got a little on my plate. The Crab Rangoon also was cold and a disappointment. Vegetable Egg Roll was pretty good. In the dessert bar I got 2 small pinwheel cake desserts , one Chocolate and one Red Velvet with almost a Cheesecake tasting icing. The Red Velvet one was the bomb , so good and I'm not really a Red Velvet person.

The Fruit Section was funky looking so I didn't get any and I really wanted some Pineapple , but nope I didn't like the way it looked. They also had Seafood which I don't eat , but others would be interested in. The Corn on the Cob looked good , but I didn't get any of it. They also had Pizza for the kids who don't want Chinese Food. There were a lot of stations and the servers did a good job of keeping them filled with so many people here. They also had a cook station for like Mongolian items that you put your choice of items in a bowl and the cook would use one of those big round grills to cook your food fresh from.

I would recommend coming here for a decent priced lunch and maybe dinner. It's not fine dining , it's a buffet. The service was very good , the food was okay , and it was a bargain for the price. Not many buffets left in town and of course not anywhere near this price. I would come back here for a plate of those Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings with some Fried Rice if anything and that Red Velvet Pinwheel...

I’m writing this after physically getting horribly sick as soon as we got home from driving 20min home from this place. I don’t overeat, it was not even possible at this place because there was hardly any food and the food that was there was not great quality, at all. Clearly,ha. How does a place seriously charge SO much when there’s no fresh food being put out!! Nearly $60 just for 2 people?! This isn’t a casino. I’m so mad I can’t even process what just happened. Some of the food was COLD or parts of it were…and the some of the fried foods (calamari, chicken, cheese Rangoon) were either ridiculously tough or soft, not crunchy as they should’ve been. The hibachi area was empty and no chef. The meat that was sitting there just looked sad. Didn’t even bother even though it would have been hot and fresh. After paying so much and I had already started eating, it was just too late and we had no choice but to try to make the best of it. Worst idea ever. I don’t even know what made me so insanely sick but I was already feeling nauseous and symptoms were starting just in the car. We were there an 1hr 1/2 before closing and THOUGHT they were still busy and had plenty because you can see the steam rising and think oh wow nice and this is Vegas where hospitality is so big and it seems like places care more. Usually. Unfortunately we had not filtered the reviews to most RECENT. Mistakes were made and I’m sitting here sicker than ever and got sick 10 times or more less than 5min ago. I will be calling this place first thing tomorrow. This is insanely unacceptable. The waitress was great and the nicest as can be but it makes me wonder is it because she knew how horrible the food was? I dunno but never. Ever. Again. And yes obviously a dumb idea to go later but was it really that late? No one should get sick from just going to eat food regardless. Pretty sure another couple walked in, looked around, and walked back out. We should’ve...
