Stayed at the JW Marriott for 5 nights. As a Platinum Elite, the free breakfast was actually breakfast at the Earl Grey Cafe. There is a special breakfast menu for those that are taking advantage of this offer. I personally loved this option comparatively to many other Marriotts which are typically breakfast buffets with powdered eggs. Being able to sit in a diner and order off a menu was a nice treat. There were ample options and it was more than filling. I ordered the BLTA with home fries, coffee and sliced bananas on most days. Hubby ordered the typical American breakfast (2 eggs, bacon, sourdough toast, hash browns) with sliced tomatoes and orange juice. I also tried the avocado toast on one of the days. The service was great and waitress even remembered our orders on day 2 and came straight over with our OJ and coffee before we even ordered. The diner was also decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch. Highly recommend checking this place out for breakfast if you are at the Rampart Casino or JW Marriott.

This place is totally renovated and turned into a nice, modern restaurant located inside JW Marriott and Rampart Casiono. I liked the food even before when the restaurant was called Promenade Cafe, but now the menu is more sophisticated and the food quality is even better, especially for such as low prices. I just had a delicious Halubut Filet for $17 only. Come on? Where can you find such a delicious fish at such a low price. Usually Halibut is offered only in the top fine dining restaurants and priced in the range of $35 to $50 per portion. The servers are very friendly, fast, and accurate. Great managent presence. They were checking on our table frequently making sure everything is good. I highly recommend Earl Grey Cafe because you get JW Marriott experience and quality at a casual restaurant prices. This is possible only in Las Vegas.

The cool part is the location inside the casino, great spot to do people watching, and the music played there is entertaining but not loud. To be fair, this place is fine as long as you know what you're getting: pre-packaged, cafeteria-style food. The fish in the fish and chips had a tell-tale cartoonish shape, and the spaghetti was drowned in a heavy sauce that came straight from a can. The chicken parmesan was equally basic. When I asked for balsamic dressing, I was handed oil and vinegar to dress my own iceberg salad, which was already hidden under a mountain of huge croutons. Dessert didn't offer any surprises either—the cheesecake was passable but looked and tasted like it came from a factory.

05/31/2022, as usual, my spouse and I looked forward to dinner at the Earl Grey. It was pleasant until she was served the grilled sole. This fish was dry, thin and tasteless. My wife tried to eat the meal but finally asked the waitress (the waitress, Ling, was attentive and professional) to take it away. When I received the check, I saw that we were still charged for the returned meal. I asked the waitress for credit. She returned with the check and said they would give 10%. I told her I wanted a full refund. The wife had hardly touched the food. Enters Jasmine, who wanted to know how many pieces of fish were eaten and then offered 50%. Jasmine was unpleasant, and I felt, accusatory, which made me angry. As a businessman (retired) who was in the service industry Jasmine is someone I would not employ for long. Rude aggressive with a lack of caring for the customer or company image. In the past I have given the Café five-stars. I would have given less than the four this time but that would reflect of the other courteous and professional help. Speaking of which is employee Juan who works at clearing tables. He is pleasant, always greets us with a smile and he sees that we and other Café guests are well taken care of. (He would make an excellent replacement for (Jasmine). I told Jasmine we wouldn't be back. But why should we miss out on a normally pleasant evening at the Café and the Rampart Casino because of one rude employee who unfortunately is in a...

Where do I start?

We were staying at the Marriott & decided to head over to the casino. My friends settled on this place. We walked in & they weren't friendly to us at all. The server seemed to be very inconvenienced by us. I ordered a Moscow mule, she poured too much & it spilled over. Instead of cleaning it up, she threw napkins at me to clean it up. My friend asked if she was going to bring another one since she had spilled the majority of mine, she huffed at us & said it didn't spill that much then said she'd bring out another one. We ordered 2 prime ribs with seasonal vegetables & a grilled cheese with tomato soup. The grilled cheese is made with a Kraft single, looked super waxy when it came out. The tomato soup was super gritty. The prime ribs looked an ugly, sad brown color & were terribly underseasoned. The vegetables were TERRIBLE! It was peas & carrots, like the Bluebird $1 kind that looked withered, the horseradish was more like a yogurt. The server was terrible. She saw we were displeased but didn't care too much. It was 8pm so it wasn't late when we got there. She also argued with us about the menu. We asked for a sandwich to be turned in to a lettuce wrap, she told us no, we then read the menu to her & she said I guess if you want, I'll ask for the lettuce wrap. Glad we decided against it. I can't imagine what a mess that...

This restaurant is empty most any hour because the food is horrible and the management is non-existent. Our hash browns were burnt black .No customers reflect the mismanagement and obvious failure of this poorly managed Hotel and all its failures. Hotel has more employees than customers. Employees are great but the obvious mismanagement of this property is glaring and lacks professional insight into how to properly run a Casino properly.Great location Great employees but the management is a obvious failure. We couldn’t even get a manager to look at our black hash browns .Food served cold selections are dismal and lack state of the art expectations of customers! This is a Death Valley of Casinos 🎰 No customers ( empty casino) Buffet gets horrible reviews. Only place in the country where one of the Starbucks went out of business The valet parks all cars in the full sun Sportsbook is empty .Machines are unoccupied. Worst management of a nice property in Las Vegas Locals left hoping for a new corporation to take over this property. Employees are loved but the management is AWOL ! A Sad Destruction of a good property because it lacks...
