05/31/2022, as usual, my spouse and I looked forward to dinner at the Earl Grey. It was pleasant until she was served the grilled sole. This fish was dry, thin and tasteless. My wife tried to eat the meal but finally asked the waitress (the waitress, Ling, was attentive and professional) to take it away. When I received the check, I saw that we were still charged for the returned meal. I asked the waitress for credit. She returned with the check and said they would give 10%. I told her I wanted a full refund. The wife had hardly touched the food. Enters Jasmine, who wanted to know how many pieces of fish were eaten and then offered 50%. Jasmine was unpleasant, and I felt, accusatory, which made me angry. As a businessman (retired) who was in the service industry Jasmine is someone I would not employ for long. Rude aggressive with a lack of caring for the customer or company image. In the past I have given the Café five-stars. I would have given less than the four this time but that would reflect of the other courteous and professional help. Speaking of which is employee Juan who works at clearing tables. He is pleasant, always greets us with a smile and he sees that we and other Café guests are well taken care of. (He would make an excellent replacement for (Jasmine). I told Jasmine we wouldn't be back. But why should we miss out on a normally pleasant evening at the Café and the Rampart Casino because of one rude employee who unfortunately is in a...

We were staying at the Marriott & decided to head over to the casino. My friends settled on this place. We walked in & they weren't friendly to us at all. The server seemed to be very inconvenienced by us. I ordered a Moscow mule, she poured too much & it spilled over. Instead of cleaning it up, she threw napkins at me to clean it up. My friend asked if she was going to bring another one since she had spilled the majority of mine, she huffed at us & said it didn't spill that much then said she'd bring out another one. We ordered 2 prime ribs with seasonal vegetables & a grilled cheese with tomato soup. The grilled cheese is made with a Kraft single, looked super waxy when it came out. The tomato soup was super gritty. The prime ribs looked an ugly, sad brown color & were terribly underseasoned. The vegetables were TERRIBLE! It was peas & carrots, like the Bluebird $1 kind that looked withered, the horseradish was more like a yogurt. The server was terrible. She saw we were displeased but didn't care too much. It was 8pm so it wasn't late when we got there. She also argued with us about the menu. We asked for a sandwich to be turned in to a lettuce wrap, she told us no, we then read the menu to her & she said I guess if you want, I'll ask for the lettuce wrap. Glad we decided against it. I can't imagine what a mess that...
