I'm dissapointed to write this review but I must tell the truth. Although the restaurant is very nice,(Don't let the pictures fool you) the food was horrible. From the appetizers, to table bread, salad and main course.... All had issues. Gave feedback to manager and he confirmed the vendor for bread was only vendor in town due to Vegas that could supply them and agreed bread was an issue as it has zero taste. The Cesar salad was exceptionally sour. The shrimp scampi lacked sauce and was extremely bland. The crab claws were about the only item that wasn't bad. We were seated outdoors on a very nice patio with water elements and fire pit. But, several kids (6) from tables inside were running and playing during our entire visit. Manager tried to stop them but it didn't help as their parents didn't appear to care. It was a very disappointing experience. For the money and location I expected better....

This is one of the best places in Las Vegas and the Summerlin area! Always a great Happy Hour with good food selections. The artichoke spinach dip is a must!! As well as the Italian meatballs!! Great with a glass of wine!! The patio is really awesome to sit out on and there are misters. A more cozy atmosphere is the couch area and this is great especially during a Golden Knights game as there is a large flat screen TV on top of the fireplace facing the couch and 2 side chairs. Dinners are really super here and the steaks always cooked to the customers requests. The French onion soup is the absolute best!! The service is always first class and the whole staff makes you feel right at home!! Happy Hour is popular go early and expect a bit of a wait. Well worth it! A total gem!!

I recently ordered takeout from this spot and overall had a very good experience. The prices are quite reasonable, and the portions felt fair for the value. I went with the filet mignon cooked medium rare, and it was executed perfectly—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The Caesar salad was crisp and refreshing, while the fries arrived piping hot and satisfying. The only miss for me was the mac and cheese, which turned out a bit too runny and lacked the creamy richness I was hoping for. Since I only did takeout, I can’t speak much to the service or full ambiance, but the space looked inviting from what I saw. All in all, a solid option while staying at the hotel.

on 10/05/2020 I arrived at around 4:30PM and was told by an older gent that "Happy Hour is Over" (despite being advertised widely online as being from 4-6PM). I requested to be seated outdoors - the gentlemen (Jerry) told me that the people seated outdoors "Won't even be getting their food for at least 35-45 minutes". I informed Jerry that I was a long-time Summerlin resident and had been coming to JW Marriott since it was built. Jerry seated me indoors (not outdoors as I requested despite there being seats available outdoors) and handed my a Dinner Menu - claiming that "Happy Hour" was over. (This at 4:30PM). My Waiter Benjamin took my order (Caesar's Salad & French Onion Soup). Delivered the food in a timely, professional manner - and presented the check at 5:54PM when I finished eating (still within the Happy Hour time-frame). I paid and tipped generously as the server did a good job. Upon exiting I spoke to another Hostess - when I brought up being told that "Happy Hour was over" - she stated that "Jerry is an old man - and probably got confused!" This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE TO ME - and for this reason alone (never mind compromising me during a pandemic by seating me indoors against my request and lying to me about the available Happy Hour Menu - which by the way is substantially less than the Dinner Menu. I feel VERY CHEATED and will most probably never return. I was a Patron at this establishment when "Summerlin Preferred" cards were issued as a perk for locals. I do NOT appreciate being lied to and manipulated in this manner. I'll be glad to provide a copy of the receipt to prove my case. If you have Staff that intentionally lies - get rid of them! If you have Staff that is not competent to do their job GET RID OF THEM!! If it's a Manager - then they should know - this is NOT the way you keep Patrons!!!

UPDATE *. Management (or) whomever attempts to manage responses reached out with an email contact for me ; so I emailed the contact. Nearly THREE WEEKS later - no response. They clearly do NOT GAF about complaints !!!

*I won’t EVER return to this property based on abusive and discriminatory practices. And I suggest you and your guests go elsewhere as well!!!

Nobody likes to be lied to!!! And actually doing so in this instance is fraud and...

We went for the brunch on the 3rd Sunday of February. It was fantastic! On the first and third Sundays they have a wonderful jazz duo that plays what I call soft, cool jazz...a very pleasant plus to the experience. Our waitress, Shawna, was extremely warm, helpful, welcoming, and a wonderful waitress to boot. While awaiting our fare we were surprised with a complimentary berry and crème fraiche. My mother had the cornflake-encrusted brioche French toast with fruit and real maple syrup and a Mimosa...both were excellent and quite different. I had the eggs Benedict with shaved herbed-ham and homemade English muffins and Hollandaise sauce and breakfast potatoes and coffee. The eggs were perfectly poached, the Hollandaise was light and beautifully seasoned, and obviously hand-crafted; the ham was a delight, and the English muffins were angel light and also lovingly hand-crafted. The breakfast potatoes were lightly seasoned fingerling potatoes with lots of fresh-looking herbs and beautifully sauteed and perfectly crispy on the outside. If you order coffee you get a pot of coffee (delicious). I also ordered a side of Applewood-smoked bacon which was well cooked and had excellent flavor. The room was not packed but well attended. The decor is handsome in a charcoal/cream, earth-tones subtle decor with charcoal and gold highlights. The buffet looked interesting but too much food for us to try yet. The only slight detraction was the acoustics which make for kind of noisy room, but the food and service was so exquisite we barely noticed....

We are salty and very disappointed!

Back in October, my friend who treated me and my husband to celebrate our recent marriage was embarrased with how disappointing Hawthorn's was. She was excited to take us out. My friend worked hard on asking her other friends for recomendations and researching a nice dinner place. The host was nice, cordial, and humorous. The ambience was surprisingly appealing. The waiter was great and respectful... but the food!the food was horrible! HORRIBLE! Me and our friend ordered the Salmon and my husband ordered the Roasted Chicken -- it was as if salt was the dish! They were the saltiest food we've ever eaten in our lives -- 166 yrs combined! They offered to switch the food and serve us better versions of what we ordered. We, of course, agreed to send our plates back. Some parts of the "altered version" of the dishes were still kind of salty. We just had to eat the food since we were already there and already wasted time, money, and energy to be there. For a very expensive restaurant we expected better food or at least average food that was not salt that looked like Salmon, chicken, and sides! I do not recommend going to Hawthorn! You are better off going to a...
