My family and I were in the mood for some liquid fuel during our weekend escapade so we stopped here because it was within proximity of where we were at. I also recall seeing this coffee shop every time I pass it on Charleston Blvd and have been wanting to try it - the name itself is enticing. When I pulled up, I noticed that there was a walk-up window which I appreciated because I'm not a fan of coffee shops that have only a drive-thru service, especially when it's my first visit. Las Vegas drive-thrus itself is very annoying to me, plus, I enjoy moving around more versus sitting in my vehicle to get food/drinks.
This business wasn't crowded at all when we visited in the late afternoon on 18 May 2024, which I enjoyed because we all took our time to decide what we wanted to try. The young gentleman that was working at the time of my visit was phenomenal - this guy's customer service was impeccable! I presume he was the only one in that building and he took our order and made our drinks very fast. We ordered the Nitro Cold Brew, Lavender Lava Matcha, Hot Brewed Coffee, and a Chocolate Chip Cookie. The one thing I was annoyed with during the visit is that I was met with the unfortunate news that they couldn't prepare any warm foods because their system was inoperable (I think it was their oven). I really wanted to try their breakfast sandwiches and especially their Malasada Donut. Oh well, I didn't lose any sleep over it and this just tells me that I need to come back to experience it then. The drinks though, were outstanding...my Nitro Cold Brew had a remarkable flavor and wasn't bitter at all. If applicable, I'll update my review/rating after I try the food and possibly other drinks from this coffee shop.
The prices were very reasonable and not the highly inflated costs you'll experience on the Las Vegas strip or other areas within the valley. I have the utmost respect for this business because of their support to the Armed Forces and its Veterans - mahalo nui loa, for that! I don't frequent coffee shops because I'm one of those that enjoy sitting in the comfort of my house to enjoy a cup of coffee. However, now that I know about this place, I have confidence that I can be out and about and obtain quality coffee with superb customer service from this place if I'm within the surrounding area. I highly recommend this business...
Read moreDrinks are inconsistent. Ordered hot chocolate one day had a hint of banana flavor which made it taste amazing & the temp was cool but still tasty customer. Ordered hot chocolate again the next day hot chocolate was perfect taste & temp touch of banana flavor. It works the chocolate banana taste! Ordered hot chocolate again tonight (1/17) bc it's been really good last few times. The hot chocolate was scalding hot burned my kids & my tongue & no banana syrup. Tasted awful actually can't explain the taste. All of the our drinks tasted different. Paid $22 dollars for 4 hot chocolates got charged $1 per drink for coconut milk substitute, didn't even taste like coconut milk. We ended up throwing away 3 drinks bc it tasted rancid. Was not "bad ass" at all it was just..bad. Customer service was...eh....
Read moreI’ve been dying to try this place, but I was kind of disappointed when I finally did. There were 3 of us and we all got something different. However the coffees had a similar taste. I was expecting distinct tastes like when you go to Starbucks. The coffee was just good not great. It tasted like water down coffee. I was hoping for a fresh/strong coffee with hints of Hawaii. I got the Big Kahuna beach bliss, my husband got a Big Kahuna three waves, and our cousins got a small monkey mocha. She said hers tasted like banana mostly. My husbands and mine were so similar in taste and not tasted like a caramel coffee. The flavors were definitely subtle. We paid a little over $20 for 3 drinks For the quality and price I definitely prefer Starbucks. On a positive note the...
