Mai's Deli Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I’m looking for a good neighborhood deli and I had high hopes for Mai’s. The service placing my order on the phone was great. I loved how they ask for specifics to customize your sandwich to your liking.

The shop is located inside the Fantastic Swap meet, the exit door is locked, you’ll have to walk inside and pay the $1 fee. The shop is right around the corner. The arcade/ diner was empty but the pickup line had two guests before attending to me. My sandwiches were ready in perfect timing. I loved the efficient checkout and proximity to the swap meet entrance/exit doors.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the quality of my order. Not only were the portions small but even the basic turkey club lacked basic salt and pepper. The pastrami was dry and chewy. I’m willing to give it another shot this weekend. Hopefully with a different order I can have a better dining experience.

We have tried placing orders for this restaurant three times now. We take the time for everyone to pick out their orders and 10 minutes later they are cancelled because it says the restaurant is closed, though it's showing as open on apps. We finally had to block this restaurant to keep this from happening.
