I purchased several items from here at once, one being a sectional, and all of these items were bought outright. At delivery the wood was not stable. I remember the delivery drivers putting it together, and I could hear a bit of a cracking noise just from them attaching the arms. Unfortunately, I just ignored the obvious concern as it seemed stable enough. After having this for some time, one simple move of furniture, rearranging my living space, and the wood broke completely at the leg.
The wood was then exposed from this break and the cheap fabric tore revealing the poor quality of the wood. I found that one bolt was missing from this front leg. Therefore, it was not tightly screwed with all bolts secure at the time of delivery. Keep in mind this is a one person home rare to no visitors. I don't have pets or children and rarely sit on the sofa. Currently, the sofa is so uncomfortable the cushion seems to be non existent just after having this for a little over a year. The cushion for the chaise part of the sectional is in better condition and is not wore down to the wood. I called in to ask what type of wood is used, and was told that good quality is used, no specifics, and that I will get a call back once the factory was open. I haven't received that call back. I sent pictures as I was told to, and still no follow up as promised.
I am aware whatever warranty I did have is long expired, however, I just want to understand what type of wood is used so that I may inform if I decide to hire another party to fix this. I also wanted to notify this company that for this to be occuring in such a short amount of time since purchase, something needs to be addressed with this product.
In all, this review is a warning to be aware that the quality of furniture you view in their showroom may not be what is coming from their factory. Thoroughly check the furniture including underneath. Don't settle and/or overlook concerns no matter your urgency or need. I wouldn't recommend given the lack of response, price and...
Read moreWe bought 4 barstools and a massage chair from them and initially the grandfather and grandson were nice. In less than 1 week a barstool broke when my 19 year old son who weighs 200 lbs sat on it. I called them and they asked if he was screening around on it. He was not. They said to bring it in and gave us another one. The next week the replacement and another one of the originals broke in the same way. This time my daughter was on one of them and she fell instantly and hit her head. When I called them they said this cannot be true. They had no empathy for my daughter and again blamed us that someone was screwing around with the barstool. I sent them pictures and they said too bad. This never happens. Our reply was we're bringing them back to you and at this point just want a refund. They were not nice or understanding at all. When we returned them the grandfather said that we must have someone who is 500 lbs in our family that sat on it. He wouldn't listen to what we thought was the problem (wrong screws because the 2 of the 5 that didn't break had completely different sturdy matching screws). He then told me to shut up and went to hit my husband when my husband simply asked him not to talk to me like that. We couldn't believe it. All they had to do was show empathy and understanding and replace the barstools and we would've been a raving fan. It's...
Read moreThe sales lady I encountered was very rude to my parents. My parents walked in before me to look for two basic nightstands for our guest room. They found one that looked like it was purchased from Ikea, very simple and plain, but that's what they wanted. As I was walking in, I heard the sales lady tell my parents, "nothing in here less than $125 for nightstand!" My mom says, "for two nightstands or for one?" The lady walks away to the gentleman sitting behind the desk and starts speaking Spanish. Little did she know, I understood everything she said. I was pissed!! I wanted to go off, but my Mom told me to just ignore it. I respect my parents too much to cause commotion. The old lady tells the guy in Spanish, "They're not here to buy. I'm not going to waste my time" As we walked out, I walked up to the two of them and told her that I understood what she said. As soon as she opened her mouth, I stopped her and said you need to be careful, the next time this happens, the person might not be as nice as me! Better and more affordable furniture at...
