If you really care about your business, what I say should be taking as nothing but pure criticism and you should learn from this, instead of deleting every negative review about your business that isn’t positive, if not you’ll find yourself not having any business in the nearby future.
I first want to say that the Stuff My Turkey is a very good concept, the atmosphere was everything, the food looked delicious, however upon arriving at the establishment, we weren’t seated right away or acknowledged and then waited damn near an hr for our food!
Now I get it, your menu and these special entrees and etc takes time, but an hr?!?!?!
Mind you there was a party sitting right next to us, we thought they been served and was just occupying the tables, because we saw used napkins and drinks but they haven’t been served either. And throughout the time that we were waiting for our food you had multiple guest and some parties coming into the restaurant waiting to be served and never were and they all walked out because no one was acknowledged just like I wasn’t acknowledged right away either. But I really wanted to try your establishment, big mistake.
With that being said, our server Tierra, who obviously is real young and childish took our order, we asked specifically for our wings that were on the appetizer menu to come out first before our entree (because that’s usually how restaurants work), she relayed to us that it wouldn’t be a problem. After she leaves we don’t see her again for another hr, this is probably because she had multiple tables—if she really cared to do her job, but more than likely she was just goofing off (because I’ve seen her multiple times go to the host stand and play with her phone) but nonetheless, when I caught up with her, I asked her again can we have our wings first and entree last, she says ok. Shortly after I walk away from her I see an another server brining over two fish and chips which I knew were mines and sat it at the table.
I explained to him that we wanted the wings first. He goes and say “they coming out now”. That’s not what I wanted, and think about it, why would I want my entree first over my appetizer, so I had them cancel the wings and I’ll just pay for the fish. To be honest I think it was the cook that bought our food out and when I explained to him the situation he seemed somewhat sympathetic unlike the server Tierra.
Tierra proceeds to come over to my table and say “so what’s the issue with the wings” very aggressive like, and I explained to her what the issue was and then she quickly cuts me off and was like “so do you want em or not, cuz that’s all you had to say”. I honestly coulda just walked away from your establishment seeing as though she had an attitude when she was in the wrong!!!! I’m paying my money to invest into your establishment and I get talked to like that?!?!?!
I was so disappointed and disgusted with how this black owned business would hire someone so young and immature to talk to their guest like that especially when your business is making a name for themselves. I didn’t even wanna eat here anymore! So with that being said I asked for some boxes… I truly felt Tierra purposely made us wait another 15 minutes for the to go boxes. And I don’t even know why she did that because it’s not like she was taking care of the other guest, she just stood at the podium then walked over to the kitchen to talk to some cooks.
In the end, she didn’t deserve a tip at all!!!! But tbh I didn’t want to leave her with nothing like she did me so I gave her a dollar. When she took me up to the register she gave me the dollar back! That’s hella rude! Especially when you did a horrible job serving us, and you didn’t even deserve it either! And on top of that! SHE NEVER APOLOGIZED!!!! She truly felt she did her job smh
Never coming back I don’t want to take my chances again in your establishment. Especially when your employees are in the wrong and they don’t even apologize for their mistake! Waiting more than an hr for some two pieces of fish...
Read moreA fellow veteran invited me, because she enjoyed her food and had gone at least a few times. Three of us ladies waited at the entrance and just observed there was no seating. We waited a few moments, and a waitress approached us and asked how many. As she walked off; she came back into view with a confused look, and we realized she wanted us to follow her to chairs seated out of our view. The seating was in chairs, and on one side, two burly men were seated directly behind, so we all sat on the opposite side of the table. Immediately, the waitress said we had to all sit on one side of the table to leave the conjoined table open for new arriving customers. I then asked, "Could we be moved to a booth when it came available?" She stated, "It's first come, first serve and said another waitress would be over to assist us." She grabbed a chair from the conjoined table and sat and talked with two ladies right by our table. A new waitress came over, and she sat down on a stool and proceeded with her name. I immediately realized this must be how they take our order. The waitress took offense because one of the ladies in my party asked, "If this was normal protocol in their establishment? She didn't answer, but she jumped up with an annoyed look, her demeanor changed, and she asked, "What would you like to drink?" I knew we should have left once she stomped away, but the veteran who invited us was hungry and ready to eat. A guy came over, and I asked, " Are you a manager?" He stated, "He was a friend of the family. " I told him it was two of us first time, and he made food suggestions. He took my friend's order, and then I asked if we could move to a booth that just came available. He said, "Yes, let me clean it right quick." We moved to the booth, the waitress came back and rudely asked us our order again. I ordered a side, the veteran ordered a meal, and the other friend assumed her order was already in process. The gentleman came back to the table and asked why didn't we order? I asked what was wrong with our waitress, and the other friend asked if he let them know about her special request originally? He said it's a holiday and it was fully packed early and our waitress had been working hard earlier; he apologized that he hadn't communicated with the waitress that the first order should've been started from our first conversation and proceeded to put the order in. He then came back to the table and said I'm getting a bad energy vibe from the friend who's order he just placed, and I don't appreciate that, because we have been busy all day." The veteran who invited us immediately asked for them to cancel our order, I asked how much for the drinks? The guy said, "Don't worry about it and then immediately said, "You both know she was rude"? I didn't understand how it escalated so quickly, I was confused about if the problem was because we were asking so many questions as first-time customers or if the holiday rush took hospitality off the menu completely? We then searched for other alternatives in the area. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to the unpleasant attitudes as a first-time patron of this establishment (Civilian...
Read moreCan I just sleep in the kitchen and wait tables for the owner in exchange for meals🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽? Yes, my food & my experience were that GREAT. I live in Virginia and NC & saw this place on instagram. I saved it and said “If I EVER go to Vegas I’m eating there!”. Well a few months later here I am. The wings are old school BIG WINGS. The sides are old school BIG SIDES. The service is OLD SCHOOL EXCELLENT SERVICE. EVERYONE is POLITE AND ATTENTIVE. Even when you call they’re polite and welcoming. I was greeted with smiles and courtesy immediately upon entering. “P” was my server & she is ABOVE AND BEYOND AMAZING IN EVERY WAY. Thank you so much. The establishment is clean and bright. Music plays and isn’t too loud nor offensive. It goes well with the vibe of the business. It smells great and NOT of burnt/ old grease. My food took a while because it is made to order, thank you for providing us with FRESH, HOT & DELICIOUS food. My chicken was so hot that I could barely touch it (just how I like my food!). They even sell Kool-Aid; yes Kool-Aid 🥰! That was great as well. Brought back childhood memories 🥰. I was too full and couldn’t finish the last two wings. I picked at them but couldn’t finish! I wanted to try the desert but I’m too full. The owners and the staff TRULY know how to run a restaurant. This is so refreshing because too many places don’t understand TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Taste is subjective & I find this food to be totally delicious. The green were perfect. So we’re the Mac & cheese and yams. My chicken was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. Even my cornbread was perfect and even had corn kernels in it! Now that’s cornbread!!!! Even if I didn’t like the food I would still give it an excellent review due to EVERYTHING else being perfect. Even the bathroom is clean, fresh smelling and big. My meal & beverage only came to $33.00 which is reasonable here in Las Vegas. The location is in a safe and clean part of town. You all display TRUE pride, teamwork and professionalism. Thank you. It was truly my honor & pleasure to support this Black owned & run business. I wish only the ABSOLUTE BEST FOR ALL OF YOU🤗🤗🤗. Keep up the PHENOMENAL work and I will be back the next time I...
