Inadvertently passing by twice, I decided to venture in for a satiating meal before departing Las Vegas for home. Expecting a dingy, grease-pit by the tacky, print-shop advertising banners plastering the outside, I was met with a cozy and comfortable interior, well lit and clean, without being posh and excessive. Ample dine-in seating and appropriate atmosphere convince me to dine-in, along with the courteous nature of staff. Ordering a Spam Musubi, Beef Teriyaki Plate, and Bobba Thai Tea, the meal was prepared and brought-out in the appropriate order, with the staff providing pertinent condiments for each portion upon request. I was quite impressed with the Spam Musubi, as I was expecting a boiled consistency. Instead, I was met with a varied and appropriate consistency of warm and tangy, without being charred, appropriately sized spam slice, wrapped in pillowy sweet rice, with a crisp and refreshing layer of seaweed to hold it together, which was well complimented by the umami flavor of the soy sauce provided. When I was served the Beef Teriyaki Plate, I was provided a small portion of what appeared to be macaroni, zucchini, and sesame seeds, which was a great aperitif to the main course. The Beef Teriyaki Plate provided a well organized (wasn't just a jumble dumped on a plate), ample-portioned, teriyaki, layered, so that the sauce would not mix with the rice until the customer disturbed the beef it was atop. Too many places believe 'teriyaki' means 'char everything to a crisp, sauce and all', but Ra's Teriyaki has accomplished the unthinkable: they have done it right. The beef, while firm, was yielding and tender, allowing the teriyaki glaze to intermingle, while the sweet and fluffy nature of the rice created a masterful combination; every mouthful was a happy moment. To conclude a triumphant meal, the tangy lactose flavor of the Bobba Thai Tea, served with enough ice cubes to make it cool, without diluting or making it too cold, concluded this marvelous display of culinary...

Today is one of the many days I get to spend with my son when he is not on the game. We went to the good ol' ortho dentist today, and he knows he gets to pick out lunch wherever he chooses.
He opted for Teriyaki. So we did as most went online and sought out this place as it was close to where we were at. The exterior says one name however it is Mama Putt @ Flavor House -
Upon entering was quickly greeted and asked if this was for dine in or take out. We opted for dine in. There are menus on the wall along with new items and handhelds on the counter. You order, pay at the front counter, find seating, and it is brought out to you.
At the time they were out of the Bento Box option, so that will be for another trip. So we opted for the Beef Teriyaki Plate, and a Chicken Teriyaki Plate, and some Fried Plantains - along with a couple of drinks. The sauce on the teriyaki was on point. It was very robust and they did not skimp on the sauce or the amount of meat either. Loved that
Interior is huge. There are several seating arrangements. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background. One thing I found that was neat, were the table tops. They are all photos of our fabulous city.
Would Recommend - pricing was typical for inflation these days. Staff was amazing. So hospitable and very courteous. My mind is still stuck on that fruit punch...
Read moreService was interesting. It was around 6pm, my husband and I walked in to what seems to be an empty restaurant. We must have missed the crowd because the server proceeded to inform us that their teriyaki items ran out which was alright as we weren't there for teriyaki to begin with. Anyhow, we decided on chicken curry with Fufu. Shortly after, the server tells my husband that they ran out of curry. I was a tad disappointed but quickly browsed the menu again and picked the chicken stew with Fufu. The cashier seem to have difficulty getting our orders in and getting our change back to us. Again, not a problem. Service was just nothing to look forward to.
Food was a 5 out of 5. I've been wanting to try Fufu for a few months now and I must say.. I wasn't disappointed. The chicken Stew with Fufu was delicious ! The flavour was on point, meat was tender, and Fufu was well done. Knowing how to eat Fufu is key to a good experience, so YouTube it if you have to.
Atmosphere of the dining is decent. Nice music. Spacious dining room. Overall clean and tidy.
We will definitely return for...
