Ocha Thai Food — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Edit… I still stand behind my original review but I’m changing everything to 5 starts because the food is just that good. We have been at least once a week since we tried this place and the food is always good, but I prefer the Sat/Sun cook. I’ve never asked for names but the man in the SlipKnoT shirt makes the best food. Pad Thai always awesome, Thai rice is amazing, red curry is so flavorful. We tried the crying tiger and it is so worth the money in my opinion. So flavor and the white rice is always cooked perfectly. I will say the food is always ready when I get there now, but I normally arrive about 20 mins late. Either way the food is so good I’ll wait as long as I need to

Food is awesome, prices are a little high, serving size is reasonable. The only reason not a 5 start is the food is never ready on time. I normally don’t hold time against people, but I have been here 3 times now and all 3 times we walk in and the staff isn’t doing anything. I even gave them an extra 15 mins on top of what was predicted and it still wasn’t ready. Walked in and the cook wasn’t even in the kitchen and food wasn’t even started yet. Ill give it 2 starts only because the curry flavor was on point I ordered yellow curry The thickness and texture of the curry was soup like. If u like curry soup great place to find it. I usually go to the chinese food place a couple doors down but I decided to give this place a try! I ordered the chicken noodle combination chow mein. I HATED the chicken noodle and its texture!!! It was soooo bad that i wanted an exchange or refund but they ended up closing… i went around 8:40pm they close at 9pm. I wanted the regular chow mein style noodles but i dont think the hostess really understood me so i ended up with that noodle. Even though the noodle was bad, the chicken and beef slices were really good and tasted really fresh and authentic very good quality.. and so did the shrimp however they only gave me 2 pieces of shrimp.. if im paying $16 I expect a little more than that! And it was so much noodle not enough protein!!! I threw almost half or it away. I am currently debating if i would try this...
