Located in a strip mall off Charleston near Jones Blvd. Benedict the owner was our Server and Rang is the Chef. 👩🍳

Pesto Crusted Salmon $27.00 My friend said fish was moist and pesto sauce was balanced. 3.) Chilean Sea Bass $42.00 my girlfriend said bass was cooked to perfection. 4.) Fish Florentine $27.00 my new favorite dish. Again fish was prepared perfectly and light sauce that accompanied it was well balanced in seasoning and taste.
Additional Update: finally was able to bring my husband here to try… and as usual Benedict and Rang did not disappoint! What we ordered this time: 1.) Cesar salad $12.00 to share… great taste 2.) Scallops with Squid Ink Risotto $36.00 our friend said it was well balanced and the scallops were cooked perfect. 3.) 3-Cheese Garlic Salmon $27.00 one of my favorite dishes as the sauce is not too heavy and bodes nicely with the green beans and mashed potatoes…yum! 😋 4.) Chilean Sea Bass $42.00 my husband truly enjoyed the light sauce and lots of fresh lemon. He said he looks forward to coming back and trying other dishes! Side Note: Rang’s was recently awarded one of Las Vegas new “Rising Stars” restaurants…well deserved!
Update: brought an out of town friend here last evening. We ordered the following: 1.) Chorizo croquettes again $11.00 Just as good as the first time I tried them. 2.) Chorizo Bolognese $21.00 a new pasta dish for me…just enough bolognese sauce so not to over whelm the pasta which was cooked just right not too Al Dante. 6.) 3-Cheese Salmon $27.00 served over mash potatoes and green beans. This dish was just Devine! Chefs Kiss. Salmon was so moist the cream sauce was light and fluffy. I will be ordering this dish next time! I highly recommend if you like salmon. 7.) Read moreI've been wanting to try this place out & we decided to come here on April 1st for our anniversary. It's also always nice to support small businesses. Benedict served us & the best part of Filipinos is the hospitality. He told us about the restaurant being a Mom & Pop shop, his wife, Rang, being the chef. It felt like being in my Tito & Tita's house lol He gave us some recommendations & one that wasn't on the menu yet. I ordered their Truffle mushrooms with Foie Gras risotto for entrée & my fiancé ordered the Bistek. The one note I will give is we didn't expect the Bistek to come out as a legit steak lol so if we were given the heads up, my fiancé would've asked for it to be in medium rare. But either way, with the way it was marinated, it still tasted fantastic. It was kind of trippy bc it definitely tasted like your usual Tagalog bistek. Our appetizers was the Lengua Salpicao & Albondigas. The Lengua was OMG wow. We purposely left some over so I can bring it home to work & I ended up eating with it & mixing it with my leftover risotto. They really gotta put this as a risotto menu lol. The Albondigas was delicious as well, but not as surprising as the Lengua. We told Benedict it was our anniversary & he gave us their home made Tiramisu....that's on the menu & u have to try it! It is now one of my favorite Tiramisu ever! It isn't too sweet & it wasn't overwhelmed with espresso. I can't wait to come back & try the other parts...
Read moreWhat an unexpected culinary gem! Visiting from the culinary wasteland of NM –– but originally from the culinary utopia of the San Francisco Bay Area –– my husband and I were craving "elevated" noodles to celebrate my birthday. Eating noodles is a tradition in AAPI cultures that signifies living a long life. I wasn't interested in the usual pancit, but something more Italian. The Strip was a no-go and Chinatown was too crowded.
Boy, did we strike gold! Chef Rang's aligue with garlic shrimp pasta did not disappoint. I grew up mixing the funky, garlicky, citrusy, and fatty "taba ng talangka" over steaming hot rice and this was very reminiscent of that experience. My husband's Chilean sea bass dish was addicting. The coconut lemon sauce combined with the fragrant jasmine rice was the perfect base for the tender fish. Thank you for suggesting we order a pasta dish and an entree.
We will definitely come back to enjoy the other dishes –– the foie gras! the bistek! the vegan steak! Hopefully, the dulong and binagoongan dishes will be back on the menu. I'm so happy we got to scratch the surface of Chef Rang's...
