They get 1 star purely on account of the sandwhich. If I rated them on service alone, they'd get 0 stars I ordered a large original, the cashier put in an order for a medium (fortunate for me I looked at the receipt and caught the error before they made the sandwich). I also requested dine-in, they gave me carry out (did you not want a customer "like me" to dine-in your restaurant?). So I had to return to the counter to request a dine-in tray after they brought out my food. What they don't know is I stopped by the restaurant at 9a this morning. They didn't open until 9:30a. I went and took care of some other business and came back to give them my business and this is the service I received. My mother used to take me to the Sclotzsky's in my hometown when I was a child. Attached is a picture of the text I sent her on my way back to the restaurant. Furthermore, the restaurant charged me an additional 5.42 for the large sandwhich + chips and drink, and never replaced my medium drink for the large one (I thought they would have given me the large on account of their mistake), nor did the cashier suggest where I might find the chips, I had to go and obtain them for myself. Never judge a book by it's cover. That "book" may be articulate enough to right a google review documenting their experiences.
*To add insult to injury, after leaving the restaurant I checked my bank statement to find they overcharged me 6.50 + 12.84. So I had to return to the restaurant to find out what happened. They gave me some excuse about amounts pending blah blah blah. Shame on them. They deserve 0 stars. They should not be found anywhere around the earth's orbit. They're grounded, in the dust, beneath to...
Read moreSadly I won't be back!! I have been a fan of scholzky for many years. happen to be on the side of town and stopped by for a sandwich. I like the veggie one. boy has it changed they don't do the usual avocado spread and they also did not add fresh veggies to my sandwich. the bread was not nice and toasty. the guy who took my order put it in incorrectly or the cooks made it incorrectly? I specifically said NO MAYO I just can't stand mayo well my 20$ sandwich came out with mayo. it was a to go order so I did ask the guy (cashier which pointed out I needed to add a tip which I have 20%) young kid blonde hair I did a quick check and saw mayo on my sandwich i asked him about the mayo and he said it was ranch dressing lol who ever has a sandwich with ranch dressing on it. he didn't really care. I honestly didn't want to cause any issues and accepted it and left. I came home and scraped the whole sandwich apart to remove as much mayo as I could sadly I won't go back ever again and i wint recommend shlotzkys ever again sad because I was so excited to go there today. super disappointed in him lying and horrible customer service cook how he posts to his tip when you scan you debit but meanwhile I saw cleaning gloves on the...
Read moreI have been a big fan of Schlotzsky's for many years so I went to their 5119 W. Charleston blvd location to try the Tex-Mex Brisket Lg, I ate it in store and i was very disappointed! I asked myself: " Did they forget to heat the meat or is it supposed to be like this??" I asked the staff if the brisket sandwiches are supposed to be a hot sandwich and the employee replied "YES". I had already lost my appetite half way through and and threw the rest of the sandwich away. Later that night it was clear to me that not only did they ruin my dinner but also gave me some type of food poisoning, i felt awful and had diarrhea for 4 days. When i brought it to the managers attention, He added insult to injury, did not appear to care & gave me the run around, I left my number & he said someone would call me back and nobody ever called.
I wouldnt recommend anyone eat at this location and If for any reason you feel something isnt quite right about your food, put it down immediately! Reporting outside of a restaurant maybe necessary as some establishments have questionable ethics. Food Poisoning kills 3000 ppl a year and hospitilizes 100,000+ a yr...
