The WORST Barista I have ever dealt with at a licensed store. Amelia - what a piece of work she is. NO... absolutely NO customer service skills what so ever! She put my beverage on the hand off bar and to my surprise (no not really - it's a licensed store - I wasn't surprised) that it was made incorrectly. I asked if she shook the milk in with my espresso and syrup, Her reply was - that is our standard, that is how we make it here. Well - actually NO that is NOT how you make a Starbucks Doubleshot. You DON'T shake the milk in with it. It goes on top. She went as far as making it again and swirled the milk in w/ the espresso and syrup and had the nerve to tell me "I didn't shake it this time". Well DUH - you swirled the milk instead. I don't want it swirled, I don't want the milk shaken, I want it on top. She so rudely said "I'm going to make it EXACTLY how you tell me". What do you want me to do first..? - Me: Make it the right way! First use the shaker and add 1 venti ice scoop. Add 8 pumps of vanilla, pour 5 shots of espresso on top of the ice then shake it... yes shake it.. - She replies " you tell me when to stop (as she is shaking the espresso) I count to 10 (per the standard) and tell her to stop and pour it in my cup. Top it off with light breve... That is how you make a Starbucks Doubleshot... I should have taken my tip back and the other 3 dollar bills in the tip jar just because she was so F(&)8#$ rude! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS...
Read moreThe Starbucks located in the JW Marriott hotel in Summerlin, Nevada, has extremely friendly and accommodating staff, at least on the first day we were there. The store is clean, efficiently run, and the prices (compared to non-corporate stores in other Las Vegas hotels) are higher than those of company-owned stores, but not outrageous, unlike those at Caesars and MGM-owned stores. And "they" wonder why the tourism industry has been struggling recently? When you charge $7.00 for what corporate stores charge $3.20, you best believe tourists will stay away.
On our second day back, we returned to this Starbucks, and the barista wasn't quite so pleasant or accommodating. Maybe we got her on a bad day,...
Read morePrices are triple what they are at other Starbucks locations in Las Vegas Vegas. This location can do that because it is inside a fancy hotel, however, I don’t agree that they should be gouging prices like this.
Additionally, do not order on the Starbucks app. I had ordered some snack items through the app, and when I got down there, they told me they didn’t have any in stock. This restaurant should do a better job at knowing what their inventory is and marking items as Unavailable. They also did not know how to provide a refund or cancel the order.
My friend who got coffee, said that it was extremely bitter and...
