This is my 2nd negative Google review and I got on here specifically to share my experience with this location this morning and in the last month leading up to today.
I decided today that I will no longer return to this Starbucks location and perhaps not to Starbucks at all as a franchise in the future.
I was treated poorly by 2 female baristas at this location this morning. I watched 3-4 other customers come in after me and be served ahead of me. My order was a Venti Violet drink with 3 pumps of classic and seemingly simple to make.
As the time was ticking down (I spent 10 minutes standing there) and person after person was served, I walked closer to the serving counter and was asked my name by the barista. I told her my name and she proceeded to say nothing else. I asked her where they were in the process of making my drink and she still said nothing while looking back toward the drive thru at the barista with the green and pink hair who had at that moment came over and set my drink on the mobile order table (I didn't order mobile.)
At that point I asked to speak to a manager because I was being ignored by an employee and this is when she finally spoke up and rudely said "I don't know if there's a manager here. I don't normally work at this location."...Yes, I was given the ("I don't know. I just work here" excuse as an answer) She also did not offer to look for one. I asked her to find one. The shift lead with the green and pink hair tried to correct me about asking for a manager instead of presenting her self as one of 2 shift leads when I asked to speak to someone and finally when she admitted that she was one of the two people in charge I asked to speak to the other shift leader who took my order. When she spoke to him she loudly stated: "Can you speak to her." in a demeaning tone.
The gentleman approached the issue in a polite way. However, what really upset me as I was explaining that as a paying regular customer, my drink should be made and served with the same priority as other customers, which wasn't done today or on Tuesday 3/2/21 when I came in...I watched 2-3 other customers go to the register after me and still get their drinks ahead of me while I was left standing there, is that he blamed it on mobile orders, which wasn't my issue and then recommended that I go through the drive-thru if I wanted timely service and the same priority as other customers and repeated this twice when I told him that as a customer, it's my choice as to whether or not I come in side or go through the drive through.
There were a few problems with this. Overall, I don't think that the solution should've been for me to change my routine, as the problem didn't originate with me but with the rudeness on the part of the female baristas. Also, nowhere in this conversation did he state that he would forward the concern to his boss or speak the to women who disrespected me at the serving counter. Which is really what I was looking for. Last month, I started coming into the store because of the drive-thru wait, so the solution offered didn't really solve either of the problems, and I felt as though if other customers coming behind me can get in and out in 3-5 minutes (providing that they didn't have a complicated order) I should be able to as well. In the time that they sent 3-4 other people before me, they could've prioritized my drink (because I came in 1st) and had me out and on my way.
This, combined with the fact that I decided last month that I can't even order my favorite drink from is specific location (Medicine Ball) because it is bitter at this store, despite noting this to the shift manager I spoke to last month 2 times and trying to ask for additional honey.
Not cool. I am...
Read moreI have going to this location for over 7 years. This location used to be great. That is no longer the case. The wait time is LONG and ridiculous and the order is usually 90% WRONG. Staff doesnt seem to care anymore. The turn over is so noticeable. The staff is not trained the same at all. You get different answers to questions from different employees. The managers change often and when they do have one that cares... they don't stay long. The mgr today told me that I was rude. I was just letting her know that I am at a loss at how to ask for my drink ( since her staff cannot comprehend my request) She told me I was rude when in reality she was the rude one. She did not seem to care and charged me for a redo today.. When I called her back to remind her it should have been a redo.... she stated she would write my name down for my next trip. Starbucks, why change the Medicine Ball recipe?.... the new one sucks for those of us that have had it for over 9 years everyday. They are not cheap drinks and now that I have to request a custom order for this drink the price really increased only to get it handed to me incorrectly anyways. I am at a loss for words at how the service at this location specifically has changed. No one cares. There are some staff members that seem to have just jumped out of bed and drove to work (greasy ,unkept hair). I am very disappointed and will most likely stop going here. I have too many choices to get my daily coffee / tea to continue to be treated as if I am not important and no one cares to do their ...
Read moreI normally go to the Starbucks location right down the parking lot in Albertson's but I took advantage of the drive through and the half off frappuccinos at this location! Service seemed quick...too quick. Some of our beverages tasted watered down with very little taste. I called this location and spoke to a nice understanding Batista whom said to come in and they'll replace them. I wasn't able to come back the same day so I went the next. When I went in to have them replaced there wasn't any problem doing so. But there was however, a strange, older, balding man my daughter said who was taking pictures and maybe posting it to social media? That was really creepy!! He was telling the baristas they'll have to see it. So I wonder if he was posting some kind of petty remark about us. I don't feel comfortable going to...
