My kids and I went here to celebrate. We are so excited to be able to cook our foods. This was a waste of our time and money, I would never come back here please read the reviews and reconsider some of the other amazing restaurants in the area. The food that we were able to cook on the grill was decent. But the problem was is that we could only order so many pieces and then needed to reorder again. I didn't have any issues with that, but I never realized that there wouldn't be any service to give us more food. We went without getting stuff to cook multiple times. The bar that has all of the other foods and condiments left a lot to be desired.. To start, the California rolls that my children ordered were so bad they literally spit them out. They've had California rolls all over the world and they've never not eaten them except for this place. That should tell you a little something about the food quality there. The hot foods such as the katsu and other items we're cold, bland and tasteless. they did have some decent sauces there, but that was about it. On multiple occasions I had to get up from my seat and go find a waiter to ask for simple things like water or even food that we needed to cook. There was another waiter in our area that was not busy at all and cleaning the tables and getting everything ready and was always in our area but never helped us whatsoever.our waiter was non-existent after the initial seating. He was not friendly he was not kind he didn't have a smile on his face. He was hating his job. Him being miserable made us miserable and it was a terrible experience. I don't know how you could mess up a dining experience like this. All you do is supply the customers their meat that they choose and let them cook it, that's it. Well obviously if you have terrible service you have no meat to cook and it becomes a bad experience. In several other of these restaurants that we've been to they will typically replace the cooking Platten when it becomes dirty. No such thing at our place, are cooking surface was disgusting after the food we cooked. Also most places like this will turn on the overhead fans so that it sucks away the smoke, but in this place they never turned any of them on and we all smell like smoke when we left. I was so disappointed, because we are so excited about this place. And as I mentioned how do you mess up food like this when the customer Cooks it themselves. But I'm sad to say that this is not a good place to eat, and you would be better off spending your money elsewhere. Plenty of other better restaurants with better...
Read moreThursday, April 4th, 2024 party of 3 dinner $143 included pre-added 18% tip (when the bill comes, tip option is there again DO NOT BE TRICKED TO TIPPING TWICE)
-NO TAKING HOME EXTRA FOOD -YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR REMAINING FOOD NOT COOKED OR ATE -YOU STINK LIKE A CHEF/COOK WHEN YOU LEAVE (EVEN AFTER CHANGING YOUR CLOTHES, YOUR HAIR/SKIN/HANDS STINK) -YOU'RE TIPPING 18% WHEN YOU COOK ALL YOUR FOOD, GET ALL YOUR SAUCES, SIDES, SPICES, UTENSILS, NAPKINS (they bring you the protein, sushi and drinks to table only)
Private parking lot, seated in a matter of minutes but most confused if you wait to be seated or seat yourself (a sign is recommended to avoid further confusion)
Protein Option A (more choices) for 32 pp Protein Option B (less choices) for 44 pp Sushi options approximately 6-8 choices (not good choices. The yummy yummy was partially eaten and the rest not touched) Everyone has to order/eat the same thing up to 5 options of protein then two options from sushi (sushi options were not good) You cook everything yourself (which was expected but overrated. Never again. I cooked more than I ate) Then there's add ons and additional options for more money (we didn't partake in add ons of any kind) The more protein we got was the worse it tasted for some strange reason (brisket was the only protein all enjoyed/worth while) The shrimp (issued 4 pieces at a time, which was annoying for 3 pp), brisket and Rangoon (tiny in size and issued 4-5 pieces at a time, again annoying for 3 pp) were the only things we liked A lot of items you collect from counter and bring back to table are not labeled and we have no idea what it was or whether or not it's to be cooked
Since it was our first time, we were completely confused and had some food left over which they didn't charge us for (Thank God) I find it horrific you can't take it home or that food is wasted with so many struggling with groceries, inflation and homelessness (left my soul uneasy) I understand some try to take advantage but for those who aren't and paying big money should be able to
With that said, ain't coming back until changes are made. We prefer Shinju buffet (zero issues ever for lunch or dinner) where we were headed to and decided on this venue last minute and no one was happy, everyone critiqued experience all the way home and were very disappointed (ruined our night as we don't eat out often, especially dinner and this was a major let down/waste of good money)
Management please take all mentioned into consideration and make the experience better for the customer especially those not accustomed...
Read moreThe experience was one of the most horrid one’s that has ever occurred. I would not trust them to offer food to the public especially during this virus period. The bartender laughed at my pregnant wife and was being consistently rude towards us and stating experience level and management was okay with all the behavior. This occurred when she asked about the menu. We had tried numerous times to look up the menu. And called before we arrived and asked and made sure the items were available. We got there everything was different. the bartender was being negative towards us there was only one other person at the bar. I’ve never experienced a bartender like that. I also haven’t experienced a manager like that as well. I have been to Korean restaurants and ate their food and been pleased. I was just trying to relay the experience with the manager. No wonder our sales at the business I manage has gone up. When we make mistakes, we often receive appraisal from our customers. I really don’t mind the experience because if we all didn’t have some like these then we could not go somewhere else where our business is appreciated. Also we would not be able to appreciate better service more. So thank you for the experience. I own two businesses of my own and I manage another family business 4 days a week after 7-8 years of working with that family. I will keep you updated with any complications of our pregnancy from the experience. The only apology that was truthful was a customer waiting to be seated. He apologized to us and meant it. Your customer. There is a reason why our business stayed alive during the economy crash years ago and is alive and well and doing better than ever currently. You see places like yours has posted space for rent. Thanks for causing a decrease in popularity for Korean food. The management is consistently against society. Not a business I would ever deal with. I’ve managed numerous businesses and trades for many many years. This experience will bother me for the...
