Ilene Lieberman Botanical Garden was named for Lauderhill community leader Ilene Lieberman. She served as a council women in 1984, mayor in 1988, and as a Broward County Commissioner in 1996.
The garden is a small sized at only two acres. Although they didn't have a lot of land to work with they maximized what they had. The garden has an outdoor amphitheater that seats 40 people. There is also a gazebo, a tot lot playground, and an observation deck. Throughout the park there a walking trail, botanical gardens, and public art.
