My mother and my sister told me about this place. It was my motherās birthday weekend we went 04/11/2025. First I notice when I walked in that the price for an adult to eat was 20.00 plus 19.00 for a child okay whatever itās an all you can buffet. Thatās fine. We get seated and we go to get our food, everything looked like it was sitting for a few hours. Food was cold and tasteless. My son could barely eat anything there because he didnāt like anything so all he ate was white rice and he refused to eat the chicken fingers because he said it was disgusting and the white rice was hard as a rock, but he did end up eating the desserts, but what I noticed about the dessert ice cream station was that they had only one scooper for all those ice creams and dirty, nasty water that they did not change out that the scooper sat in. I barely ate there and my son as well. Pretty much just kind of sat there waiting for my mother and my sister to eat. After 25 minutes of sitting down and eating, the waitress came with the check and she stood there and waited for us to pull out whatever we were paying with. I gave her my card after she came back with the check. She stood there AGAIN and waited to see what we were gonna put on the paper for a tip I put zero tip because I PLANNED on tipping with cash. if Iām being completely honest, The fact that she stood over me to see what I was gonna put irritated me and when I put zero as a tip, she literally said āwow no tip?ā āYou NEED to put tipā right in my face and then got upset. I WISH I was kidding šš. If only she waited for me to pull the cash out of my wallet, she wouldāve known I was gonna pay her with cash, but because she demanded I refused, and I told her āNOā āNO TIPā straight to her face and she walked away. My mom felt bad because the lady was complaining about a tip and gave her a little bit of cash and I looked at my mom and said āyou shouldāve never done thatā āespecially after she just complained in our face about it.ā And I said that right in front of the lady . Very unprofessional !! All she did was pick up plates. Didnāt pick up the food for us which I get is a Chinese buffet you serve yourself. Iām sure thatās what sheās there for to get a paycheck to pick up plates. She didnāt check on us once to see if everything was OK, she didnāt see if we needed anything, but she made sure to complain for that tip. I think itās very unprofessional to demand a tip. Iām not obligated to tip anybody Iām already paying for what Iām getting. Plus me and my sons drink was 3.00 for both. So on top of me and my sons entree to eat, and tax I paid $50 dollars for nasty food that me or my sons barely touched then your going to get upset about a tip before I could even pull it out!?!? for picking up dishes?!???!ā¦.. What a joke!!! We were floored about that especially because she counted my 5 year old for a person to tip. So she expected me to tip more because my five-year-old was with me. If you donāt like the policy then maybe you should talk to the facility about charging people a different way if you want a tip for the little work, you do or I donāt know go to school and get a real career that you actually have to work to get paid for. I always tip when I go to restaurants. I already have in the back of my head that I donāt need to tip because Iām already paying for my food, but Iām tipping because Iām thankful for the service but if youāre gonna demand a tip from me, especially when all you did was pick up plates, baby girl youāre barking up the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI gave this place 1 star only because they had one of my favorite dishes - the coconut shrimp.
Outside of that, most of the food was disappointing and very bland.
The restaurant is very old. The chairs have rips in them, and several have been taped with black tape.
I probably wouldn't have noticed this as much if the food was better. But here's what made me angry enough to write a review.
Everywhere you go these days, all businesses are respecting the rules that have been set for the pandemic and social distancing. Not this restaurant.
The only thing they do is provide cheap gloves for people to wear in the buffet area, but it was just as crowded as if the pandemic never existed.
When you go into a restaurant, you do have to remove your mask in order to eat. This is why restaurants, more than any other establishments, ought to be adhering to CONVID19 rules to protect the public. This restaurant is not.
How much sense does it make to require people to wear a mask coming into your restaurant, and to go into your buffet area; but when you seat them to eat, when they will need to remove their masks in order to eat; you do regular seating at tables that are two feet apart?
I specifically told the waitress after we were seated, that I did not want anyone seated at the table behind my son, or at the big table for 6 next to us. The waitress station was behind me.
Yet ten minutes after we sat down with our food, here comes the host with a family of 7 trying to seat them right next to us.
It was like this throughout the restaurant. They seated people less than 6 feet apart. In fact, mostly 2 feet apart; because they had so many tables crammed into that restaurant.
They never had anyone wait until some people left for appropriate seating and social distancing. They just let everyone in with blatant disregard for the social distancing rules.
I immediately objected to them seating that family next to us, so they moved the table back a little, but that was still a lot of people to put within 4-5 feet of us, and I was not happy about it.
Then a few minutes later, the other host comes with a couple trying to seat them directly behind my son. I was like, "Didn't I say not to put anyone there because it's too close?!" The couple agreed as well.
Furthermore, what is the purpose of giving us the cheap-az gloves to put on to go into the buffet area; if you are going to let unsupervised and undisciplined children run rampantly around the buffet area without gloves?
Plus, the food must have had a high amount of MSG. My son had a migraine last night after we got home. I had one before I went to bed, and I still have it now at 1pm.
Furthermore, suddenly my son and I are very congested and coughing up mucus, which was not our state of being prior to being in that restaurant with its lack of appropriate social distancing.
Overall, it was a very disappointing, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read morethis was the worst experience i have had at a restaurant. i called up and asked them if they had "all u can eat snow crab legs" on the menu and asked how much they were. they told me $12.95 and yes they had all u can eat. my husband, myself, my grandson and my son arrived to eat about 8. we were seated right away as it was not busy. they sat us down and took our drink order and we got up to get our food. i grabbed my plate and headed to find the crab claws.=--nothing. my husband came over to me and said he searched the whole buffet and there were no crab legs to be found. i found the waitress and asked her where the crab legs were located and she said over in the corner. i went over and there was no crab legs there. i asked the person working behind the counter if he could please put out the crab legs. they brought out enough crab legs for 2 people and there was a line behind me waiting for the crab legs. so i got a few and went to my table waiting for the waittress to come and take them to be steamed and bring them back with drawn butter to eat. no such luck. the waittress could not speak english but i managed to understand that they didnt steam the crab legs at this restaurant. then i asked for drawn butter and she said it is out on the buffet. she finally brought some butter for the cold crab legs. i had a few mushrooms but they were cold and i had some string beans and they were cold. after i ate the little bit of crab legs i went back to get more and there were none there. i mentioned to the guy behind the counter again if he could please bring out more crab legs.never came out. my husband never was able to get any crab legs. everything that anyone at our table brought back to eat was horrible. no body could eat anything. it was horrible. i then asked for a check and it was $50. and some change . i was like i cannot pay $50 for this food so i approached the manager and told him i had called earlier about the crab legs and they had said yes they have all u can eat crab legs and informed him that there were never any more than a few legs out the whole time i was there. i also saw some stone crabs they put out and took 3 and there were no crackers there to crack them open as with the crab legs also so i had to flag down a waittress to ask for crackers and she went in search of them. like they had one set of crackers for the whole restaurant. it was pathetic. i couldnt eat the stone crabs either they were horrible. my husband had 1 and he couldnt eat it either. so i told the mgr i was willing to pay half the bill which would have been $25 because we couldn't eat anything there and he said he couldn't give us anything off . he finally relented and gave me $4 off the bill. i would suggest that no one go to this restaurant. they lied about the crab legs and the rest of the food was absolute garbage. and i...
